Editorial Review :
Toshiba delivers in its projection televisions a truly cinematic experience you are looking for. TheaterView projection TVs bring superb picture and sound quality and cutting-edge features right into your home. Toshiba's renowned engineering expertise guarantees vivid, true-to-life video and audio.50H71 features PowerFocus HC high-contrast multi-element lens system that is designed to maximize both sharpness and brightness. Built-in high-contrast TheaterShield acrylic shield protects the screen. Unlike some standard shields, the TheaterShield incorporates a special hard coat to resist scratching. Toshiba's TheaterView TVs are designed to offer the ultimate in image quality from all video sources. Unique image-enhancing technology called Cinema Mode (3:2 pull-down detection and compensation) delivers the most realistic and detailed reconstruction of film-based (24fps) video content such as DVD movies. Flesh tone control corrects phase deficiencies in the broadcast signal. Color detail enhancement circuit improves picture detail and reduces color video noise. 50H71 also offers picture-in-picture audio output, and Dynamic Contrast feature for near film-like image quality. For more powerful and realistic home theater audio, it features Stable Sound, that automatically monitors volume levels and ensures that audio levels remain consistent during commercials or when a viewer is changing channels.
Customer Review :
Great compact projection TV
I highly recommend this TV. The picture is superb, both with a DISH satellite receiver and with a DVD player. The sound quality is as good as I've heard from internal speakers; I am using it as a center channel for my home theater and am quite satisfied. This TV is very compact and looks good. The glare and center channel input keep it from getting a 5 star rating. High Points * Great picture (line doubler works very well) * Good sound quality * Great remote/menu system Minor Gripes * Glare can be somewhat distracting. The more expensive "HX" line from Toshiba has a screen coating to supposedly help. Also, I've read the screen protector can be placed behind the screen to eliminate glare. * TV can be used as center channel speaker only from line-level inputs, not speaker level inputs. Overall, one heck of a TV.

Picture Great...TV..not so much.
The picture on this television was very nice. I state that the picture was great but the TV..not so much. I had 3 different Toshiba 50" HDTVs delivered to my house. All three of which had the same damage. The bottom right and left corners of the screen encasement were cracked in half. I gave the rating of 3 because the TV picture I enjoyed, but it is hard to actually enjoy a 1500 dollar television when it is cosmetically flawed everytime it shows up at my door.

awesome!!!
A great TV! Picture is crystal clear! Top of the line quality! Speakers and sub sound awesome! Way better than Sony or Hitachi! Toshiba is the way!

WARNING Not a True Widescreen TV!!!!
They may mention 16:9, but it's actually a 4:3 set that can play 16:9 on it. Heck my 32 inch tube can do that. I can't stand when they put deceptive information on product descriptions.

Bad product with worse services
I purchased this product from Costco. It was borken the third days. I called two of their service centers to look at it. Both recommend me to exchange for a new one. Since I have to pay the delivery (Costco doesn't delivery big item TV), I called Toshiba customer support and try to get the refund for the delivery. They just refused and their attitude was very bad. Since I got a defective product up front and I just want to exchange for the same product, it is fair to ask for refund for the delivery. Toshiba support doesn't want to even accommendate this. It is very bad customer relationship management and their attitude is just arrogant. I won't recommend this product based on my experience with both the product and its services.

A very satisfied buyer
I just purchased my first Big screen TV. I would like to say I did a lot of investigative work before i settled on the Toshiba 50A61. For the price ,quality looks workmanship I'm very happy about my purchse. I looked at HDTV,Wide Screen and all brands checked Best Buy, Sears, Wal-mart you name it ..But the picture is so clear and the features are some of the best for this price range.. I would suggest this television to anyone not looking to spend on the high end and still have a tv set that is top notch..you can't go wrong ...

Best projeection tv for the money
Picture Quality is Superb, stero sound is good to very good.Remote control layout is also good to very good, but wish the bottom of remote was flat,so it would be less likely,to roll off the arms of furniture. The many hookups is a plus, with the convience of front audio and video hookups.Setup was fairly easy with the owners manual, with easy on screeen menu's which are selected with the remote control.Overall after reseaching and comparing features, with the other brands,Toshiba, was a standout value for the money.

Question : Ford 4.6L 281 2V motor in the 2002 Mustang GT how much potential it have How strong it is
I have a 2002 Ford Mustang GT 5 speed with only 50,000 Miles. it already have BBK Shorty headers,BBK Xpipe w High Flow BBK Cats,Flow Master American Thunder 2 1/2 inch 40 series Cat back sistem w 3" inch tips,BBK Cool air intake,Spec stage 1 clutch Kit,It feels and sounds really decent as it is, Wath other afordable bolt ons i can still do or should i wait and put some tipe of supercharger on it. I dont have a big budget but i want to feel good abouth my car.
Answer:
You can still get chip for it and do some gears. You have already done most of the bolt on stuff though. As far as potential goes, you are safe up to 400rwhp. I would not go over that though. I have some friends at the tracks that are running around 450rwhp but they are really pushing their luck. At 400rwhp you will be safe. You will need a power adder (supercharger or turbo charger) to get their obviously. Kenne bell makes the best supercharger for the stangs in my opinion but for your budget try taking a look at eaton or vortech, they are a little cheaper. Eaton is a roots type supercharger so it will give you more power off the line and less up top. Vortech is a centrifugal supercharger so it will give you less off the line but more up top. Kenne bell is a twin screw and will give you the best off the line and mid range power.
