Question : Hooking computer up to tv
I want to hook my HP Pavilion desktop PC up to my Sharp TV. The TV is not flat screen, it's the old type, about 5 years old. Is it possible to hook them up so I can watch videos from PC on TV If so, what cables do I need
Answer:
S-Video cable is what you're looking for. The TV may be a little old but 2003 should have S-Cable capabilities...check your manual.

Question : Hooking a Macbook into my TV
Im usually good with computers, so it comes as surprise to me that I have absolutely no idea how to hook my laptop and/or my desktop into a TV. I have a 32" Sharp Aquos TV and I would go crazy if I could play WoW on it. If anyone has any help or perhaps specific device suggestions, please share.
Answer:
To hook up your Macbook to your Aquos HDTV, you need to buy an adapter from Apple and a DVI-to-HDMI cable. If your Macbook is the older one with a miniDVI port, you need to buy a miniDVI-to-DVI adapter from Apple: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9321G/Bfnode=MTY1NDA3Ng&mco=MjE0ODQzNgIf you have the new LED Macbook with a miniDisplayPort jack, you need to buy a miniDisplayPort-to-DVI adapter: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB570Z/Afnode=MTY1NDA3Ng&mco=MjE0ODQ0MgOnce you have the right adapter and a DVI-to-HDMI cable, hook them up, and your Macbook should automatically detect the Sharp Aquos.Hope this helps, and good luck.
