Question : I am using a westinghouse lcd tv as my monitor and i am running windows vista my problem is how can i change
how can i change the settings on my computer to keep my screen on when i am watching a movie or whatnot,.....the problem is not that it goes to screensaver mode because it never has a chance to, because the tv and also my monitor that came with my computer will always say that the vga connection is lost and the tv or monitor goes into its powersaving mode ie goes blank after about 15 minutes or so.....this only occurs if i'm not moving the mouse around or typing...as in watching a movie......again i thought it was due to the screensaver settings but it's not i have adjusted those and tried everything i could think of and when u trying to laydown and watch a movie with ur girl it sucks to have to keep kicking the mouse or pushing the volume button to keep the screen on....which reminds me when im watching tv through my tuner card it does the same thing only it stays on longer about 35 minutes before the powersave mode kicks in on the tv or monitor.
Answer:
Check your power settings in the control panel. It may be set to turn off monitor after "x" minutes of inactivity.
