Question : Why wont my Sony laptop play blu-ray discs on my Samsung HDTV
I bought a 1080p compatible HDMI cable and plugged in my laptop to my tv, the sony viao Windvd BD for Vaio application popped up and began to play the disc, unfortunatly it immediately stopped and said "your display enviroment does not support the protected content feedback" ...how do i get it to work thanksMy sony FZ laptop has blu-ray player in built...and it has the software to run it off.I can play blu-ray discs fine on my laptop screen but as soon as i plug it into my tv that notice comes up... :(

Answer:
Make sure your tv is HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection) compliant.Try turning off dual display sources, this tends to make the HDCP think the data is trying to be copied.Check for firmware updates.

Question : Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray player troubleshooting
My brand-new blu-ray player doesn't seem to work. Whenever I turn it on, the TV says "No signal." (Also a brand-new Samsung TV.) I've tried with a blu-ray disc and also with two normal DVDs, but nothing works. The player itself, when I put in a DVD, says "LOAD," but after a while it opens and I can't get it to play the DVD.Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Answer:
If it is brand new, shouldn't you just take it back to where you bought itA lot of people here like Samsung stuff, but I think it is junk.
