Question : Any ideas on my Toshiba regza LCD HDTV
Toshiba 42" Regza LCD HDTVModel #: TOP 42HL167Ive owned this televison for a few weeks or so and at the begining it would work perfectly with sound and picture on ANT,Colorstream1 etc. As of right now Colorstream1 gives a brilliant picture and quality but has NO SOUND I think someone may have changed settings as to how they were orignally but my Toshiba manual hasnt been much help Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If Colorstream 1 is connected to a set top box of the Freeview (UK) or ATSC (America) -- and maybe even if it is connected to a cable or satellite box that is digital -- you may need to turn the box off and turn it back on. In the worst case scenario you might even have to unplug the box. In America certain models of Free Over The Air ATSC receivers and certain models of DVB satellite receivers have to rebooted this way every once in a while when a signal is lost due to rain fade (too much rain breaking up the signal). In essence too many bad data packets lock up the receiver's processor.

Question : Toshiba 42HL167 HDTV takes a long time to turn on...why
My toshiba regza 42hl167 lcd 1080p tv sometimes takes a bit to turn on, i'd say like 10sec max (and the little power light blinks 5-6 times, when it normally just blink 2-3) and sometimes it turns on very quickly, sometimes in between. Why does it do this i've had it for about a year now and i love it but this is scaring me :( , anyone have any possible answers

Most LCD and DLP tvs take time to warm up. If the backlight turns on too fast in an LCD or DLP, it will burst. It is very normal.
