Very good LCD Tv. Escellent image, functions The speakers' sound is too weak, but if you connect with a home theater it won't be any problem.

Razor Sharp Picture
Purchased this TV for master bedroom. Perfect size as room is quite large, 19' x 20', and you can easily see the picture and read the screen text from the bed. Colors and clarity as well as resolution are outstanding. TV arrived in a couple of days and setup was easy. Great value from Amazon....

i can't say enough!
i bought this from a seller i found on amazon at christmas time and i dealt with them directly. i got this for $536.00 over two months ago after much research with no tax and free shipping. it showed up at my door 2 days later. i bought this for my bedroom and it's been played a lot! i could'nt be happier with it! the picture is stunning! a clear, crisp and sharp picture! the contrast ratio is only 10,000-1 so it looks better as the day wears on but i'm telling you the picture and clarity is first rate! you only need 720p for a hdtv 32" or smaller so my requirments when deciding on a bedroom tv were: 32", the $500.00 price range, a name brand, the best overall tv possible at the best price and a high energy star rating because i sleep with it on all night. after looking at sony, samsung, toshiba and others i decided on this one. panasonic has been building quality tv's for 50 years and this set proves it and it has the highest energy star rating in it's class. even the sound is good, not as deep and rich sounding as the 46" $3,000.00 hd/lcd samsung in my front room but for a $536.00 32" lcd/tv pretty damn good!.........p.s. for your living room hdtv you would want a 25,000-1 contast ratio or more for viewing in all kinds of light. my samsung is 25,000 - 1 and it looks great morning, noon and night in any kind of light!............update 6/21/09...........after 6 months of ownership i couldn't be happier with this unit! has met and exceeded all my expectations. good job panasonic!

Superb TV - after 1 year of use.
I bought this TV in Christmas '08 for my wife for use in our Master Bedroom. After a year, I have nothing but good things to say.
I did a pretty good bit of research on this product, having owned a Panasonic 42" plasma prior to this. I got it in conjunction with another Panasonic 37" LCD for Christmas, and both are spectacular. The hue/green tone problems mentioned in the "most helpful negative review" just don't play out with our TV. The colors pop, the screen is bright, and the sound is very good. If I was sitting 3 inches from the TV with high-tech color calibration gadgets, could I uncover some imperfection? I suppose so.. but would it matter?
For everyday use, this TV delivers a crystal-clear image that is light-years above the CRTs of recent memory. If you have a nice source (such as DirecTV HD boxes), a TV this size looks great in 720p. There's just no need for 1080p unless you're getting above 37" - 42". For the price listed now, it's a steal. I spent about $300 more just a year ago.
Overall, another first-rate TV from Panasonic.

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-L37S1 37-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV
Very nice TV. Just plug-n-play. I know I'm a guy, and hate using manuals and directions, but I barely needed to glance at the directions for this TV. Other than placing it in the base, it was ready to plug in and hook up to the DVD player right out of the box. Picture quality is bright and beautiful, and the on-screen settings interface is extremely intuitive. I love this TV!

Great TV- call your cable company to fix volume!!
We're in love with our TV, however a lot of people seem to be having trouble with their volume. In fact, the audio is too loud for us; we watch TV at 10, 11 or 12 no more since it's too loud. Please see below for info on how to increase the volume on your TVs:
a) Call your cable company b) Tell them that your volume is quite low and you need an adjustment. c) They will try several codes and instruct you to press various buttons on your CABLE remote. d) Continue inserting codes with the person on the phone with you, until you hear the volume going up. e) On your CABLE BOX, manually adjust the volume to the highest it will go- ours go to 30. This will help a lot as well
I've read most of the reviews here and found some to be quite helpful on how to make the pictures excellent. In fact, we have tweaked the settings due to some great advice on here. Thanks for all the advice. We are happy customers.

Soild LCD TV for the price
Good picture and adequate sound. Great for our office and second guest bedroom. There are three things to keep in mind. 1) If you move off center viewing axis much the picture drops off quite rapidly. 2) It is not a high quality sound system for which you can easily pay way more for then then cost of the TV. 3)Watching standard TV on a LCD HDTV will always be a grainy disappointment.
Now in our living room we have a 55" state of the art (for the moment) Samsung LED flat panel TV, with separate 5.1 surround sound system and HD signal from Verizon FIOS. Not even this high quality great HD viewing TV has great sound by its' self. The picture is not as grainy when watching standard TV, but still not great. The picture in HD is outstanding even way off axis and I paid four times as much for the TV and sound system as this Panasonic.
My wife, guests and myself are all very satisfied with this purchase. Are there better TVs...yes...and they cost a lot more.

Question : Which new HD LCD tv should I get a TOSHIBA 32" 16:9 8ms 720p LCD HDTV 32AV502U or a Panasonic VIERA 32" 16:9
I am looking at getting one of these for my room. But I don't know which one. I found both of them on Newegg.com. The Toshiba is about 100 dollars cheaper but I don't know which one makes better tvs. Please HELP thanks Also they are both 720p and both have the same reaction time
Answer:
I hear good things about toshiba. Newegg usually has pretty accurate reviews, so I would check out the reviews on both.

Question : have panasonic LCD projection HDTV, hooked up to cable. One of channels does not work now
one of the channels I watch most often only shows picture for a couple of seconds and goes black, leaving audio only. This is the only channel that it does it on. Other tvs in house connected to cable on that channel have no problems. What is the problem tv or cable box This model of tv has problems with the lamp and the ballast, but that does not seem to be the problem...Helpit is hooked up to a cable box and vcr/dvd player recorder. the channel that is not working right is channel 9.
Answer:
What is the TV hooked-up to, and how What station are you having trouble withupdateWhat happens if you connect the cable directly to the TV, or is this a set without a coaxial input You can email me at jjki_11738.
