not the best
it was ok but I didn't like that the 2 long bracket had to be put together

Good for the price
Easy to install, good price, does the job. Did not come with a stud finder. Screwing the bolts was tough and it did not come with a wrench or right tools. Tilt is also not very easy to change.

No Hassle Mount
You can't go wrong with this mount. No problem assembling or mounting on the wall. Best price in the land!

Great Mount!
I had my 32" TV mounted in under 30 minutes. Very easy to install and seems to be very sturdy. With my 32" TV you can see the brackets when you are off to the side. This was sort of expected because the minimum TV this is used for is 32", a larger TV would not have this problem.

Great product, great price
I ordered this on Monday, had the shipping expidited, and recieved it on Thursday. (From Phoenix to Dallas) The box contained everything it was supposed to contain and the product was exactly as advertised. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied. Especially since I priced one just like it as Wal-Mart for $119.

Great mount for the price!
This is an excellent mount for the price. Very sturdy and very reasonable price. Just as good or better than those sold at BestBlow and 1/4 the price. Not to mention prime shipping for free.

Well built and easy install. I had my 110 pound son hang on it to ensure it would hold the TV - no problem. Great price for the product ($60)

Perfect Fit
I wanted to mount my 32" flat panel in a corner location. I ordered this unit and it worked perfectly. A word of caution about using this mount in a corner location. Because of the size of the base, I found trying to attach the mount on either side of the corner would not work because the screws would just miss the studs. I solved this problem by cutting a 2x2 lengthwise, corner to corner, to create a filler/shim that makes a flat surface in the corner. This worked perfectly. I attached the filler/shim to the corner with a couple of drywall screws. Then attached the TV mount to the wall using some 4" wood screws I picked up at the hardware store. I pre-drilled all the screw holes so I would not split my filler/shim. This worked great. Very solid and I am comfortable with the mount carrying the weight and staying attached to the wall. The screws that came with the mount were way too short. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had anticipated the use of a filler/shim for a corner mount as it would have made the installation go much smoother and quicker if they would included this in the kit. Excellent product. I highly recommend.

My first LCD TV wall mount
I'm one of those guys who likes to DIY as much as possible. Not to be cheap, per se, but to learn as much as I can about whatever new gadgetry I come across.
So, after seeing the amazing price and reviews on this mount after buying a Samsung 32" LCD TV, I sprung for it. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this company shipped from the same city of San Diego, CA, so I literally received it the next day or so.. love it!
This gave me time to review the instructions, which came with a nifty little bubble level that proved to be helpful in checking my work. I also heeded the advice to buy a $9 stud finder (even though I'm an amazing stud myself) to find the beams within my apartment wall. My TV came about 3-4 days later, so I was able to practice my "techniques" in finding studs.
The TV came in, but had to drop a deuce because I was so excited. My reading material were the instructions for one last review, and after winning the war against my toilet, I was ready for my next battle, Mounting the LCD.
Screwdriver in hand, I attacked with relentless courage and after sorting the plate, screws, and destroying any plastic bag that stood in my way, I was victorious once again. I mounted the mount vertically as shown in the photo, and with precision accuracy, latched the LCD onto the mount.
Yes.
The amazing victory sent adrenaline rushing throughout my body so much that I did a shoryuken and blasted a whole in my 10 ft. ceiling. Yes, I am amazing, and mounting my LCD to the wall proves this fact.
Of course, physics will tell you that if you extend a heavy object over a long distance, the weight will cause a slightly flaccid dip that is only detected by my bubble level. I don't notice anything as I watch from my now instant-score tempurpedic bed, because I can angle the TV as I like.
Thanks, Peerless, you've elevated me to pimp status.

Sanus VMPL50B TV mount
The mount is very easy to install, although the instructions are not very good. Also, the mount came with just about every type screw possible for installation. I used it to mount a 55" TV and it is working well. I would definitely recommend it.

Great Mount at a great price
Buying this mount though amazon was a great deal. Mount came with everything I needed to mount my 42" Vizio. First time using a wall mount and it was easy to install.
Rating :
Very Well Built
I got a 46" Sony HDTV on this mount. The build quailty on this product is phenomenal. Very sturdy, nice black paint finish. 4 bolts holds the tv in place and 4 bolts to the wall to hold the mount/tv assembly.
It was an easy job for 2 people who have beginner to intermediate experience in home projects. It took us about 1.5 hours to complete, and that was really taking our time to make sure we installed correctly. We used a stud finder to pinpoint exactly where to drill and a level to ensure straight orientation. The only thing that went wrong is I was screwing in 1 of the bolts into the wall and tightened too much causing the bolt head to break off. I was freaking out because the screw was stuck in the wall and there was no way to get it out. But, we hung up the tv anyways and there is no problem. My hdtv is on the mount currently with 3 out of the 4 bolts in the wall. That justs proves to me the quality of this Sanus mount.
Overall, nice mount, has the tilting feature. Mounting positions are flexible so you don't have to be dead on every measurement. I recommend taking your time, have 2 people to do this job, and DONT OVERTIGHTEN THE BOLTS!! Also, we needed a drill, screwdriver, and socket wrench.

Great bargain, good construction
I purchased this mount for my new Samsung UN55B8000 55" LED LCD. The mount appears to be well-made and so far works flawlessly. The installation instructions aren't real descriptive so you have to know a little bit about what you are doing (especially when it comes to drilling into studs and making sure you have a sturdy mount.) After reading other reviews on Amazon, I didn't bother with the lag screws that came with the mount. Instead, I just went and bought some quality ones at my nearest hardware store. I had no troubles with those. Note that for this model of TV Samsung tells you to use the mounting spacers that come with the TV. If you do use these spacers, none of the hardware that came with the mount will work for attaching the brackets to the back of the TV. I recommend buying some 1 inch hex bolts that are 8mm x 1.25 (1.25 being the thread count). DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THOSE... SINCE THEY ARE HEX BOLTS IT'S EASY TO DO! Only other issue is that the adjusting knobs (to hold the tilt angle) are a bit tough to reach once the TV is mounted on the wall. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.
Rating :
Very solid.
The hardware is horrible, but the mount itself is very solid. My only recommendation is that you invest $2 in better lag bolts and washers prior to installation.
I have this holding a 47" Vizio (about 60 lbs, +/-), and it's not going anywhere. The tilting function is very smooth and easy to move, yet it doesn't slip on it's own.
There is no reason to pay $100+ for a wall mount, this is perfect.

The APTMS tilt mount features a universal design that allows you to mount the vast majority of LED/LCD/Plasma TVs in the 23-37" size range. Specifically, the APTMS supports hole patterns up to 17.25" horizontally by 12.25" vertically and VESA hole patterns up to 400x200mm. The APTMS is designed with a slim 1.9" profile yet still offers up to 15° of forward tilt. The APTMS is constructed with 5 LBS of 100% High Grade Steel providing a sturdy and reliable mount. The 19.25" wide wall plate will support two stud installation for studs up to 19" apart (most US homes have studs which are 16" apart). The two arm brackets attach to the TV separate from the wall plate allowing for easy "Lift n Lock" installation. Each arm bracket includes a safety screw to prevent accidental liftoff. The wall plate includes a built in bubble level and a separate 6" 3-Axis magnetic bubble level is provided as well. The paint is a high quality textured powder coat paint. The mount ships with all necessary mounting hardware.
Customer Review :
not quite universal
The description for this mount said it worked with most TV's and listed Samsung as one of the TV's. However, the included mounting bolts didn't fit my 26" Samsung, (there was no service # or anything from the manufacturer) and I had to get search some out on my own that were the proper size. The mount was very simple to mount to the wall though and easy to install once I had a the proper bolts to attatch my TV.
Rating :
SOLID MOUNT
Very nice mount. Built solid and very easy to install. Tilt function is not that smooth but a minor issue. Also agree with some other reviewers about the built in level being off a bit. You should definitely check it with your own level to make certain it's even. All in all an excellent mount for a smaller tv at an unbelievable price.

Great Value for the Money
My parents bought a new flat screen television a few months ago as a spur of the moment gift for the two of them. Since it was spur of the moment, they had decided to wait on getting a mount and just used a stand they already had. Of course, they didn't realize how attractive their new television was to my mother's cats. The cats would jump on top of the stand and rub all over it, sometimes even tipping it over against the wall. After saving their television a few times, I knew they had to get a mount. The prices at the local Best Buy were outrageous, and most of the ones being sold through the classifieds were bad as well. Then, I stumbled upon this mount. It doesn't have the fancy capabilities of the most expensive mounts, like being to pull it away from the wall, or being able to turn it in any direction. It does tilt up and down enough to compensate for any glare from a nearby light, so it's not like it doesn't move at all. My father loved the fact that it came with a level in the box, and it had one along the back support beam to help him get it straight (what he didn't like was realizing that the other decorations and pictures surrounding the television were off center :-) )
To get to the point, this mount WORKS. It holds a 32inch with no problem whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this product.

Works great, easy to install
Hung a 32" LCD - easy to install, works great, tilt function is really nice.

great construction and service but not for me
The construction of this mount is as good as any I have seen. I was shipped promptly. However when I received it I was disappointed to find that the wall I wanted to mount it on had 24" spaced studs. This unit is designed for 16" studs. Other than my mistake this is a great product and would have worked great for my 32" vizio!

Simple, Reliable Mount
I just installed this wall mount for a 46" LCD Television and it works like a charm. There are several bolting options to match up with any stud configuration. The built-in level is extremely convenient and installation went very smoothly; any bolt you may need is included with the mount. I'm so glad I found this mount for the low price, I have no idea why anyone would pay $100+ for a similar item. Do not hesitate to buy this!

Good sturdy wall mount
I received this wall mount the other day and installed it this weekend. I ordered it to mount my Sony 40" LCD. I chose this mount over the APTMMII because it looked more sturdy due the solid back piece rather than it being 4 rails attached to each other. The mount is made from stamped sheet metal of decent thickness with a very thick black powdercoat. The wall bracket was easy to install on the wall after purchasing a cheap stud finder to locate the studs. Make sure you have a socket set handy to tighten the lag screws that go into the wall. The built in level was very useful and there are lots of holes to use to mount it so it is easier to center the tv no matter where the studs are in the wall. The mount came with 3 different size screws for attaching the arms onto the back of the tv. The screws that it came with that fit my Sony were about a quarter inch too long. They are metric M6 20mm. The booklet for the tv says they should be 8-12mm. The ones that I bought that worked well were M6 16mm. I bought 12mm ones but they were too short. The screws need to go into the tv 8-12mm and then have space for the arm and a lock washer. After securing the arms onto the back of the tv and removing the stand it was really easy to lift the tv, with two people, and secure it to the wall bracket. The mount seems very strong and secure and has withstood the shake of my building by the trains that go by so far. I would definitely recommend this mount to others looking for a decent priced alternative to the expensive store bought mounts.

An unbelievable buy!
This item arrived on time, all parts were included, the instructions were clear and easy to read, and the mount works flawlessly for my 37" LCD. Don't be suckered into spending $150+ at the major retail stores. This was a great buy and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to mount their flat-panel TV.

Great wallmount
This product was really easy to install and comes with everything you need for mounting flat screen tvs.

Solid Low-Cost Mount
I ordered two of these mounts from Amazon; One for a 40" Samsung LCD and one for a 50" Samsung Plasma.
The instructions are clear, and all of the hardware is included. Extra screws are included in the event that you do not have the original hardware that came with the TV.
The bolts that go into the wall studs are strong, and after installed, I felt I could hang from the mount without it coming unattached. I am definitelt secure in knowing that the mounts will hold the weight of my televisions.
Don't spend $100+ on a wall mount at a box store. Order this mount and save the extra money for other accessories.

Question : What's the difference between an Hd ready tv and an actual hdtv ?? also which is better of the two the lcd
which is better that comes with those two, the lcd hdtv or the lcd hd ready tv? IM comfused and dont want to waste my money. Also if I were to buy a xbox 360 what dpi do i need for it? and how would i find it on the advertisement or in the store?
Answer:
For an Xbox 360, the best resolution is 1080p, so an HDTV that offers this resolution will be what you want. An HDTV-Ready television does not have a built-in HD receiver, while an HDTV does. Look at the picture quality of different sets and determine the best one for your needs -and voila!H a p p yG a m i n g !

Question : How high should sharpness level be set on lcd hdtv?
We just had our LCD HDTV installed yesterday. It's a Samsung 40 inch. The HD channels look great. The non HD channels look good too but are a little blurry when up close to the TV. Will increasing the sharpness level make the picture more clear or is it the opposite? It was set up at 25% I increased it to 50% and I can't really tell if it's better or worse. Thanks
Answer:
It all depends on how noisy the signal is. If you have a really clean signal, you can run the sharpness up quite a bit before you'll see negative effects like edge ringing and graininess.I'm getting my digital signal over-the-air (antenna) and the signal is so clean that I can max out the sharpness and it still looks great. I generally leave it at about 75%. I'm viewing the shows on an older non-HD CRT. The situation might well be different on an HD set.

We just bought a phillips lcd hdtv. We had dish sattlelight but no longer have it. What connections do we need to get basic channels?

Question : How well does a lcd hdtv work as a computer monitor?
A lcd hdtv i am buying has a computer input. Will it look just as good as my computer monitor? it would save me some space.
Answer:
It may depend on the make, but it will work well as a computer monitor.I got my laptop hooked up to my LCD TV using an inexpensive VGA cable (same as the cable from your CPU to the computer monitor) to view my jpeg digital pictures. I could use the mouse to find my photo directories, veiw photos as a slide, etc. When I hooked up the cable, I had the option of using the TV as the computer monitor or have both the laptop screen and the TV display on.

Question : How do i connect my Toshiba Satellite Laptop To my LCD HDTV through VGA and HDMI adapters?
I have a toshiba satellite laptop and trying to connect it to my LCD HDTV, i got the VGA to DVI to HDMI cable adapter and plugged that into my tv but it wont come up on the tv.
Answer:
Sorry, but you cannot connect VGA to HDMI. That will NEVER work.VGA is an analog signal. HDMI requires a digital DVI video signal to work. The DVI-to-VGA adapter cannot be used that way. It only works for connecting a graphics card DVI-I port to a VGA monitor, because a DVI-I output also sends out a VGA signal.

Question : Will a LCD HDTV with built in TV tuner pickup regular channels?
Will a LCD HDTV with built in TV tuner pick up and channels without a antenna? We do not have cable or satellite, just an antenna (rabbit ears). Do I still have to plug the antenna into the TV or will it automatically pickup the channels? thanks for any help. And if I need to connect an atenna, will the picture still be "fuzzy" if not getting good reception?
Answer:
On an old analog channel, a poor or missing antenna will get you a snowy picture or just a lot of white, snowy static. On a digital channel, you will get nothing at all except perhaps a "no signal" message on your screen. With digital TV, you need the best antenna you can come up with. If you are limited to an indoor antenna, a simple rabbit ears with a round loop UHF element won't suffice if you're not in a very strong signal area.See the link below for the kind of indoor antenna that you may require.
