Ordered wrong mount for your LCD? No problem, use this wall mount adapter with mounts that didn't match the mount pattern on your display. This universal wall mount extender/adapter extends all standard VESA 100/75 hole pattern to VESA200/200x100. This set includes 4 adapters; which convert VESA 100X100 to 200x100 or 200x200mm. It has been tested to hold heavy weight. However the actual loading capacity is limited by the wall mount. Please check the loading capacity of your wall mount before you apply this adapter.

Item not received!
I ordered this item and only got assembly instructions in a typical letter envelope. Assumed the hardware would follow in a separate package. Wrong! Never received any hardware. Seller claims they shipped just one package and it included the hardware, and was rude and arrogant and would not rectify the situation. Avoid like the plague...I certainly will. I am sure the product will work well, but iof they screw up your order don't expect them to make good on it.

The adapter works as described.
I purchased the adapter May 2010 (one month ago). I used it with a 24 inch tv and the adapter works as described. Received package in timely manner and easy to install.

It works, but.....
The adapter works as described, it will probably retain your mounts' rated weight limit. I however decided to order a steel plate adapter: (Mount World 1056 VESA 200 x 200 Universal Adapter for Medium Mounts) here on amazon, similar total price, yet it feels much more secure, and gives me piece of mind. so i would recommend a plate style adapter instead of this 4 piece one.

StandBy LCD Mount Extension
Got this extension kit just in case I upgrade my LCD TV to a bigger size.
This extension works great and gives you other LCD mounting sizes like 200 x 100 and 200 x 200.
Purchased it as it is cheap and usable with other VideoSecu Wall mounts for LCD TV's or Monitors.
Deeply recommend it.

Ceiling mount adapter
Received much earlier than projected date. Product is sturdy and appears well made, finish is good. Package arrived intact but internal packaging was split all parts were loose in bag. Easy to install on my ceiling mount which was purchased for a different TV but in order to accommodate a larger set I needed the adapter and at the price point it was the best deal I could find. The drilled holes allowed enough flexibility to make mounting the TV easy. The reason I gave it 4 stars was missing nut and threads on one of the screws was damaged. I had a nut in my junk box and a small jewlers file fixed the threads. Shipping was almost as much as the mount but overall cheaper than other mount adapters or buying a new ceiling mount.

Customer Review :
Loved the mount except for mounting hardware
Love the mount now that it's up. Works great and is rock solid. As per previous reviews, don't bother using the mounting lag bolts provided, three of the 4 supplied snapped in two when I was installing them, just go down and by new at the local hardware store. The TV mounting bolts provided were also to short for the sony 52" and I had to purchase the right ones at the hardware store. But once that was resolved it went up easy and worked great.

Rapid Delivery, Works Well; Instructions Poor
The documentation is sketchy and does not reflect the latest revisions to the product. Because of a safety warning in the instructions, we had to make a call to their customer service to find out that the safety item had already been installed at the factory. Otherwise, the mount is working well with a 63" Samsung plasma set.

Nice arm, cheap parts
I ordered the Sanus arm for a pre-Christmas project to install a new TV. Various other challenges aside, I was eager to be near the finish line when I started hanging the Sanus arm...until the head of one of the cheap lag bolts they provide snapped off...with the bolt deep in the stud. After a great deal of effort with clamp grips to get the broken bolt back out, and a Lowe's trip later, I had REAL lag bolts that were of sturdy quality to replace the broken one. Not in the least bit impressed given that, relatively speaking, the lag bolts are just about the most important part of the arm (unless you think your nice new flat screen would enjoy a sudden five-foot drop to the floor).
Once installed, I am happy with the arm, and it does articulate well. My family likes that we can adjust the screen to view the game while on the treadmill, see a cooking show from the kitchen, tilt it down a bit when on the floor, and so on. It retracts to the wall reasonably well with a small gap (2-3" roughly), which is not highly noticeable. Once I used better lag bolts, I now trust the arm is securely mounted. However, at this price, I was very disappointed to have that issue, especially right in the middle of a time-sensitive project. Additionally, I read older reviews prior to buying that mentioned the low quality lag bolts--shocking that well over a year later, Sanus has done nothing to address this.
(free advice: spring for the power outlet and behind-the-wall cabling if you get this arm--if you spend this much, it's worth it to keep the wall clean)

Very sturdy, but
We recently had a 58" plasma TV to mount and this is the one that came highly recommended to us from several sources. We took the comments about the poor quality of the lag bolts to heart and got more suitable replacements from our local hardware store. The documentation provides no guidance about how to determine the best place to mount the mount on your wall given your set's dimensions and the on-line tool provided on their web site is absolutely worthless. I placed several calls to their technical support staff on this and other issues and was pleased with the results: good people, happy to take the time to answer your questions.
We needed to get our set mounted 25" away from the wall to get it flush with our custom enclosures. This mount fit the bill perfectly. The set is rock solid and looks great! My wife even liked the final result.

SANUS TV Wall Mount
A SHARP 60" (56 1/2" wide) LCD had to fit within a 57" (internal dimension" custom cabinet.
It had to be mounted outside the cabinet frame, then tilted sidewise to fit the enclosure.
The SANUS was up to the job.... :)

Easily install larger screens with this simple, intuitive mounting solution. Its simple three step installation combined with tool-less, one-touch tilt angle adjustment makes it easy to set up and use. Cables and cords are easily managed behind the screen with access ports in the wall plate. For perfect screen positioning, center the screen by smoothly sliding it along the wall plate's horizontal rails.

Made in the USA
Installed easily and was marked "Made in the USA". Stay away from the chinese garbage that is marketed by the competition. One tip, you will need a long screwdriver, so what I used was a 1/4" socket type screwdriver tip with extensions. Just add in enough extensions for the length you need. Another tip, download the instructions and read them before it arrives, this will aid in assembly time.

great for the money
This wall mount is a great buy for the price. Seems like it is good quality. But their are a few issues that I do not like about it, First you are not able to adjust the angle of the tv once it is hung on the wall because the screws that hold in in place will hit the wall if turned. Second the set screws on the bottom are hard to screw in if you angle the tv down.

Peerless Flat panel mount
I purchased the Peerless Flat Panel Tilting-Mount for my 55 inch Samsung LED TV (8500 series) and the installation and mounting was very easy. The TV slides effortlessly along the horizontal plane once installed, making it easy to get it in just the right spot. The package comes with an enormous selection of hardware to attach the tilting portion of the mount to the TV. It has both fixed and tension adjustable tilting. Also, a great feature is the ability to tilt the TV out from the wall by pulling the bottom out, allowing easy access to the cables on the back of the TV. I feel very confident that the mount will last indefinitely. I was very satisfied with my selection!

This ML513B LCD TV Wall Mount is ideal for obtaining side-to side rotation and upward/downward tilt. It supports LCD & LED screens up to 55 lbs. Compatible with screens that have VESA 75mm/100mm mounting hole patterns. Arm extends from wall up to 20" or folds flat to save space. VideoSecu brand TV wall mount with logo.
Customer Review :
Great product!
This device feels very solid and secure; I was not nervous at all to mount my television, even though it is at the higher end of the weight range for this wall mount. The mount came with several different size screws, in order to fit different types of monitors, and even came with an allen wrench to adjust the resistance of the up/down swivel mechanism. I can now aim my flat screen anywhere in the room. AND, it folds up very thin against the wall, which is really nice for tucking your television away discreetly. I gave it four stars instead of five because there is a slight tilt when the arm is sully extended; it's not noticeable at all when watching television, however. For the price, I'm very happy with this wall mount.

Its ok.
Good product, but I agree with the previous review about the screws being cheap. It seems to be well built other than that. I do not have a heavy screen, but the mechanics seem solid.

Great product for a cheap price!
Advantages 1. Well built and heavy construction material 2. Priced well below compare to other products available with same quality. 3. Package contains everything. And 6 screws is good to keep this on wall with out any issue! Washers and screws which can fit multiple type of TV's. 4. Movements of each part is pretty good
Disadvantage None I can think of

AN OVERALL QUALITY ITEM at a GREAT PRICE!
My husband was going to pay almost $150 for a wall mount for his smaller 17" NEC monitor to hang up over his 27" iMac. He had me searching all over the internet including ebay for the best deal on the exact (more expensive) one that he wanted. Then he somehow came across this one and we purchased it right away. The quality is excellent, it was a snap to install, all the hardware was included and after measuring it and marking the wall, it was up and hanging in about 3 minutes. We are not hanging a huge monitor on it but my husband is very picky and he is thrilled with this mount. Will definitely buy this brand again and would definitely purchase from this seller. Very happy.

Peerless PM-1327 Universal TV Mount
We have an older type television that works like brand new so wanted to mount it in the swimming pool room for vegging in the pool. The hardware and TV holder are very sturdy so this was the perfect answer to get the television up high for viewing as well as keeping away from the humidity as much as possible.
We are very pleased with the quality, ease of installation, and the price. It is wonderful!

Peerless Tilt Wall Mount for TV
I had an older 27" tube TV that I wanted to mount in our guest house. I would not recommend this mount for larger TV's, probably nothing above a 20". The arm that mounts to the wall seems stable and sturdy enough, but the platform that attaches to the arm is very wobbly. I have used other brands in the past and they are much more stable. I cannot recommend Peerless unless you are mounting a small CRT TV.

Questions & Answers
Question : How well does a lcd hdtv work as a computer monitor?
A lcd hdtv i am buying has a computer input. Will it look just as good as my computer monitor? it would save me some space.
Answer:
It may depend on the make, but it will work well as a computer monitor.I got my laptop hooked up to my LCD TV using an inexpensive VGA cable (same as the cable from your CPU to the computer monitor) to view my jpeg digital pictures. I could use the mouse to find my photo directories, veiw photos as a slide, etc. When I hooked up the cable, I had the option of using the TV as the computer monitor or have both the laptop screen and the TV display on.
|
Question : What does hdmi cable do for a 32 inch lcd hdtv?
I just got a new panasonice lcd hdtv 32 inches 720p. What would the benifits of getting an hdmi cable be for watching dvds and cable
Answer:
HDMI delivers uncompressed digital video and audio to the TV from another device. Since the audio and video will be kept digital the whole way, this should produce the best picture the device (cable box, DVD player, etc.) is capable of making.Remember, even though the connection is HDMI, if the video is not HD to begin with and the device is not HD, you still won't get HD. Everything has to be HD from start to finish if you want an HD picture.

Question : How can I connect TV Ears (external hearing aids to a Pro Scan 32" LCD HDTV?
I have a Pro Scan 32" LCD HDTV I need to hook up my external speakers (TV Ears ) they help because i am almost deaf, but I can not find a way to plug them in. They have RCA male plug ins to tv that come into the TV EArs sending unit. Any help is needed.
Answer:
What you're looking for are the red & white audio out jacks. They are the same jacks you would use to connect the TV's sound to a receiver. Do you have the TV's model # ?
|
Question : Will a LCD HDTV with built in TV tuner pickup regular channels?
Will a LCD HDTV with built in TV tuner pick up and channels without a antenna? We do not have cable or satellite, just an antenna (rabbit ears). Do I still have to plug the antenna into the TV or will it automatically pickup the channels? thanks for any help. And if I need to connect an atenna, will the picture still be "fuzzy" if not getting good reception?
Answer:
On an old analog channel, a poor or missing antenna will get you a snowy picture or just a lot of white, snowy static. On a digital channel, you will get nothing at all except perhaps a "no signal" message on your screen. With digital TV, you need the best antenna you can come up with. If you are limited to an indoor antenna, a simple rabbit ears with a round loop UHF element won't suffice if you're not in a very strong signal area.See the link below for the kind of indoor antenna that you may require.

Question : So if I go with a 46 LCD HDTV 1080p what brands and models are some of the best to go with?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has an opinion about what the best options are for 46 LCD HDTV 1080p flat screens. I'm debating between a Samsung or Sharp but I'm not too familiar with what to look for. Anyone have some advice?
Answer:
Honestly the best thing to do is to look at reviews online and specifications from review sites. There are two models you should consider for the Samsung and Sharp 46 LCD HDTV 1080p. Take a look at the Samsung LN46C630 and the Sharp Quattron LE821E or Aquos. Take a look at the following site which is solid for consumer reviews on http://46lcdhdtv1080p-userreviews.com . Hopefully this helps out with your question, good luck.

Question : Will a 1080p hdmi cord work with a 720p hdtv lcd?
I have a 32" lcd hdtv samsung 720p. I am trying to hook up my ps3 with it using a hdmi cable. But i dont really know if i need a certain kind of hdmi cable or if a 1080p hdmi cable will work.
Answer:
It doesn't matter what resolution the signal is, the HDMI cable will transmit it.

Question : What is the difference between a LCD-HDTV with 720p and 1080p?
What is the difference between a Vizio LCD-HDTV with 720p and 1080p? I'm considering buying the 32 in with the 720p.
Answer:
You'd have to sit 6 feet or less from your 32" TV to see the difference between 720 and 1080 in terms of resolution. See the following chart...http://s3.carltonbale.com/resolution_chart.html

Question : Can my lcd hdtv survive out in my shed over the winter?
I want to put my lcd hdtv out in my shed. I want to watch tv out there when i work on my snowmobile, but im not sure if the tv will be ok if left out there. I will heat the shed when out there, but not when im out there. The shed is fully weaterproof, but will still reach extreamly low temperatures.
Answer:
The lowest of the low temperatures I saw (and this is brand, model and size dependent) was -22 degrees Fahrenheit. I wouldn't do it! Put a CRT out there, they can handle it, and if it dies....oh well. Don't hurt your HDTV if it means that much to you!-Nick

Question : help me please! I need to get the best quality possible on my lcd hdtv monitor?
I can do up to 1080i on the lcd hdtv monitor, but when I check the little tv icon at the bottom of my screen, it says I'm getting 54Mps. What's the conversion rate and how do I get it to be the best quality?
Answer:
Sounds like your low on blinker fluid. Open up your control panel (its in System Preferences) and poor 2 ounces directly onto the computer. This will allow the conversion from the 54mbs you are getting from the intergoogles to transduce to the 1080p signal you are looking for. Once this is done, you will need to restart the computer while holding command+shift+P+R+esc+option+start while staring directly into the sun and shaking your left foot. This will boot you into "Awesome" mode. Then you can make the changes you need in "Displays" (located in Control Panel).

Question : How do I attach my Dell Laptop to my Polaroid LCD HDTV?
I have a Dell Latitude D820 laptop and recently just purchased a Polaroid 26" LCD HDTV. I was told at circuit city that I would be able to hook up my laptop to the tv monitor without having to purchase any additional attachments. But from observing the cords that came with the tv and those that I have with my laptop it doesnt seem possible. Anyone know how to hook it up?
Answer:
Most likely you will have an s-video or composite(rca) output from your laptop. Youll need to buy the cable to run from the laptop to the tv.
