Easily install larger screens with this simple, intuitive mounting solution. Its simple three step installation combined with tool-less, one-touch tilt angle adjustment makes it easy to set up and use. Cables and cords are easily managed behind the screen with access ports in the wall plate. For perfect screen positioning, center the screen by smoothly sliding it along the wall plate's horizontal rails.

great for the money

This wall mount is a great buy for the price. Seems like it is good quality. But their are a few issues that I do not like about it, First you are not able to adjust the angle of the tv once it is hung on the wall because the screws that hold in in place will hit the wall if turned. Second the set screws on the bottom are hard to screw in if you angle the tv down.

Peerless Flat panel mount

I purchased the Peerless Flat Panel Tilting-Mount for my 55 inch Samsung LED TV (8500 series) and the installation and mounting was very easy. The TV slides effortlessly along the horizontal plane once installed, making it easy to get it in just the right spot. The package comes with an enormous selection of hardware to attach the tilting portion of the mount to the TV. It has both fixed and tension adjustable tilting. Also, a great feature is the ability to tilt the TV out from the wall by pulling the bottom out, allowing easy access to the cables on the back of the TV. I feel very confident that the mount will last indefinitely. I was very satisfied with my selection!

Made in the USA

Installed easily and was marked "Made in the USA". Stay away from the chinese garbage that is marketed by the competition. One tip, you will need a long screwdriver, so what I used was a 1/4" socket type screwdriver tip with extensions. Just add in enough extensions for the length you need. Another tip, download the instructions and read them before it arrives, this will aid in assembly time.

Customer Review :

This is an excellent deal

As with all previous reviewers, I was hesitant due to the price. Similar mounts in my area (Vancouver, Canada) sell for 10x this amount. This deal seemed too good to be true.

Having just completed the install, I could not be more pleased. This mount is solid, and the arms and head rotation offer what seems like unlimited positions for the screen. Tilt, extend, rotate, move...infinite combinations. My particular install is in a corner, so I required some extension from the wall and a 45 degree swivel to face the room. No probs. I'll also note that once the TV is on the mount, it's quite simple to adjust the position and very smooth. Little effort required.

Construction is solid - heavy steel with strong joints. Construction was similar, if not identical, to the $600 model being sold at a local dealer.

Installation, thanks to previous reviewers was not so bad. Instructions aren't horrible - they give you the basic idea - and in the end, really, you need to be able to screw 4 bolts into a wall, attach a bracket on the back of the TV with 8 screws, and then 4 more bolts to mount the TV on the arms of the wall mount. Lay it out before, make sure you hit the studs and use 3 people for the last step of connecting the TV to the arms (two people on each end to hold the TV, one to tighten bolts. This final step takes about 3 minutes). For what it's worth, I made a template of the bracket, from the cardboard box that the unit ships in, to plan how and where I would install this on the wall. The unit itself is quite heavy, and you don't want to be moving this thing around on the wall to plan your installation. The bracket is designed for 16" on center studding, and in my case, offered several good options for installation.

For cables, the mount arms also come with cable management covers to hide cables. Also, there are 3 holes in the bracket which are big enough to accommodate cover plates for a standard size plug set horizontal or vertical. I've uploaded a picture to show this.

As for the review that claimed this unit sagged, I can only guess that the installation didn't hit the 2 studs required to support the TV. If you hit the studs, this will not sag. This thing is solid.

Bottom line - this is an absolute steal of a deal. I could not be more pleased with the product and am very thankful to the other reviewers that alleviated my fears that this might be too good to be true.

Great mount! Great price!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this mount. It was of solid construction and good finish quality. The instructions were a little vague but if you take your time you will figure it out. The mount held securely my 120lbs 65" plasma with no variation in height. For the price this unit, it is a great buy! I would buy it again.

Cantilever mount

This cantilever mount did everything the ones going for $300 did. The instructions do need some work. The pictures are extremely important. They include alot of extra material so the mount will work with many differing types of TV and positioning holes from the various manufacturers.

Be sure to use a level when mounting this. You do not want it off even a little bit as then the TV will slowly creep to that side.

Installing this is not for the casual user. If you do not have good mechanical skills then get a friend that does. You will need two people to mount and attach it to the wall.

Now we can pull the TV up to 28 inches from the wall and tilt or pan it as needed.

Excellent quality for the price

I purchased the Unibrak to mount my 58" plasma on a brick chimney and be able to extend the mount and swivel the TV 90 degrees. The mount is very heavy and sturdily built. The quality is really very good for the price. The instructions are pretty bad, but its really not that hard to figure out how to mount and assemble it. Just make sure you are using the right hardware for each step because although they label each packet of hardware they never refer to labels in the instructions. Because I was mounting on brick I purchased additional bolts with sleeves specifically for brick. With 4 bolts I was able to extend the mount and hang on it myself before mounting the TV. The small plate that the TV mounts on can be tilted forward and back to tilt the TV up or down and also left to right to get the TV level.

The mount does not sag at all even when extended fully. You can not rotate a 58" TV a full 90 degrees to the side as I wanted, but you can get close, probably 75 degrees. With a small TV you could get closer to 90.

Good solid product.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to go with this mount. After installing it on the wall, I extended it all the way out an hung on the end of it (I weigh 205 lb.) to test it out. It had no problem supporting my weight, I mean NO problem. I then installed my Panasonic 65" plasma (133 lb.). It holds it very well and securely. The instructions do stink, so if you're not mechanically inclined, you may have trouble. The instructions say it only goes up to a 63" and the item subscription on Amazon says 65". The instructions do say it can support 200 lbs. I had to flip the tv mounting plates in order for it to fit my tv (it doesn't affect the mechanical integrity of the unit). One note, I installed washers on the bolts that go though the unit into the wall stud. The bolts that come with the mount are beefy enough, but the head of the bolt in my view doesn't grab a hold of enough metal on the mount. Pre drill your holes of course in the center of a stud and then use a good wood glue as a lubricant to install your bolts into the stud.

For the one bad review that said it could not support their tv and the tv looked like it was going to nose dive into the floor. I can only say that maybe they received a defective product or maybe the installer didn't install it correctly (maybe on purpose) and benefited by selling them something else (made money on a sale AND labor). Whatever the case, I can attest that this is a well made solid product and does what it's supposed to, hold your tv securely on the wall.

great customer service

I bought a Toshiba 15LV505 15.6-Inch that I wanted to mount under the cabinet. The customer service at "Warehouseseller" was helpful and responsive as we trouble shot how to make the mount work with the TV. There was nothing from Amazon that indicated that these two items wouldn't work together (I bought them at the same time), but it turned out that the TV is not mountable. They have been helpful in their return process. I give Amazon an "F" but give Warehouseller high marks.

Editorial Review :

The AS3S is a tri-shelf cable management system. It can be used with or without a Plasma/LCD mount. This unit is designed to fit under your display and provide an on wall solution for other components such as cable boxes, DVD players, game consoles, and stereo components. There are three 2.25" holes on the aluminum plate that allow you to cleanly run your cables up to your TV or down to another component, as well as out the bottom to an outlet. After reviewing our competition we realized that most shelving units need to be mounted directly into a wall stud. In most cases the wall stud is placed to the right or to the left of the display, which is not where most people prefer to have their shelves mounted. This is still the most secure option however, after significant research weve found that using the correct toggle bolts can allow you to mount your shelving unit wherever you see fit. With the combination of four of these toggle bolts the shelving unit is able to hold well over 70LBS safely. Each individual toggle bolt provides 75LBS of support. Please note that a good toggle bolt is still only as good as the quality of the drywall it is mounted into. If you have water damage or .25" drywall please add a support for your shelving unit.

A Very Mixed Bag

This is quite possibly the most difficult assembly I have had to go through for a product. The main reason for the difficulty in assembly was because of the poor materials and lax tolerances used in manufacture. For example, there are these plastic spaces used to protect the glass shelves (which are a little too small if you have an Onkyo receiver) from the metal columns, that must be threaded through 2 rods. In my package, the holes in the plastic spacers were actually slightly smaller than required to thread them through the rods. If I tried to force the rods into the holes in the spacers, the spacers cracked due to poor quality plastic. I was left using a lighter to expand the holes to get the rods through. Then, once the rods were through, there are there is a cylindrical protrusion from the holes in the plastic that are supposed to line up with slots in the metal columns. Thats fine except for the space between the 2 holes in the plastic and the 2 slots in the metal columns were off, forcing the plastic pieces to occasionally buckle. Once you finish the assembly, this problem goes away because everything gets tightened together. But honestly, assembly would have been much much much easier if more care in engineering and manufacture were taken. Once the thing was put together, I was pretty happy with it, thats why I give 4 stars to the finished product but 1-2 for assembly and fit and finish.

Looks great, fits 13 cables if bundled properly

I bought this unit after seeing the reviews of the OmniMount which looked very similar. Below are the steps I took to get a huge bundle of wires cleanly running through the cable channel (will post pics shortly):

1. Place the device on the glass and run the cables through the routing hole.
2. Align the device where it will sit.
3. Mark the cables running through the hole with a line across all of them to mark where they'll be tied together.
4. Remove device, repeat 2,3 for other devices on other platforms.
5. Route all of the cables as previously marked, zip-tie'ing them togther as they work up (or down) the back of the cable channel.

I have the following sitting on the platforms:

1. Mac Mini
2. Panasonic Blu-Ray player
3. HD Tivo

The Tivo is the only device which extends past the glass, however all feet remain on the surface.

Highly recommend this mount - I have 13 various cables going through the channel (coax, power, ethernet, optical audio, dvi), with a little bit more room left.

Best wall mount for the money

I purchased this mount a few weeks ago when it was on for 73% off.

The box was well packaged and I received it in excellent condition.

Construction was a little difficult so I definitely recommend having 2 people put this together. The only complaint I had was that the plastic spacers tend to get stuck on the threads of the 2 rods that go through the back. I managed to assemble this by myself by taking my time.

I was very impressed with the thickness of the glass. I was also surprised to see that they had included the toggle bolts, drywall anchors and screws in the box.

The cable track in the back was not enough to handle my large bundles of wire loomed cables so it protrudes off the wall about a 1/4" at the bottom where my receiver sits. It made things neater than what I had before so I was still pleased with the final result.

The only complaint I have is that the shelves are not deep enough to hold my SONY receiver so the front rubber pads just barely have enough grip. I may end up selling it and finding a smaller receiver. At the moment it is stable enough provided noone hits the shelf. *crosses fingers*

Given the prices of some of the mounts I was looking at prior to this, the amount I paid and the minor issues I encountered with it made this a worthwhile purchase.

Don't Spend Any More Than This!

After reviewing other options to mount an lcd tv on the wall that cost $50 - $150, we decided to give this gizmo a try. Does the job perfectly, that job being to simply mount the tv - no tilt or swing required in this case. It's got mounting holes for all the typical layouts used by manufactures and was a breeze to install. No reason to spend the extra money if you don't require movement in your tv. High-quality materials and solidly built. It's the perfect solution for our needs!

Simple & to the point.

This mount has a very low profile keeping the TV as close to the wall as reasonably possible. The design is very simple & straight forward, thus effective where a tilt mount is not needed or desired.

Question : How well does a lcd hdtv work as a computer monitor?
A lcd hdtv i am buying has a computer input. Will it look just as good as my computer monitor? it would save me some space.

Answer:
It may depend on the make, but it will work well as a computer monitor.I got my laptop hooked up to my LCD TV using an inexpensive VGA cable (same as the cable from your CPU to the computer monitor) to view my jpeg digital pictures. I could use the mouse to find my photo directories, veiw photos as a slide, etc. When I hooked up the cable, I had the option of using the TV as the computer monitor or have both the laptop screen and the TV display on.

What is the difference between a Vizio LCD-HDTV with 720p and 1080p? I'm considering buying the 32 in with the 720p.

Answer:
You'd have to sit 6 feet or less from your 32" TV to see the difference between 720 and 1080 in terms of resolution. See the following chart...http://s3.carltonbale.com/resolution_chart.html

Question : How do i connect my Toshiba Satellite Laptop To my LCD HDTV through VGA and HDMI adapters?
I have a toshiba satellite laptop and trying to connect it to my LCD HDTV, i got the VGA to DVI to HDMI cable adapter and plugged that into my tv but it wont come up on the tv.

Answer:
Sorry, but you cannot connect VGA to HDMI. That will NEVER work.VGA is an analog signal. HDMI requires a digital DVI video signal to work. The DVI-to-VGA adapter cannot be used that way. It only works for connecting a graphics card DVI-I port to a VGA monitor, because a DVI-I output also sends out a VGA signal.

Question : LCD HDTV do i need a converter box and antenna?
I have an lcd hdtv by magnavox. I do not have cable and want to be able to watch tv. Do i need an antenna or just the converter box to pick up local channels? I am a little confused on what exactly the converter box is able to do.

Answer:
If your TV is an HDTV (and not a "HD ready" TV), you just need to attach a TV antenna to it and have the TV scan for digital antenna channels. (Hint: if there is no place in the TVs menu to scan for digital channels, it doesn't have a digital tuner and isn't a "HDTV".)A HDTV already has a digital (ATSC) tuner built into it. A "HD ready" TV doesn't have a digital tuner built into it and would need a converter box or HD tuner to receive digital broadcasts.A converter box is connected between an antenna and older TVs. The box takes the digital signals that the antenna picks up (ATSC) and "converts" one of them to the older analog type (NTSC) that non-digital TVs can understand. The only reason that you might want to connect a converter box to a HDTV is if the converter has a better tuner than the one that's built into the HDTV. What kind of antenna you need depends on where you live. In North America all TV antennas can pick up digital broadcasts, so feel free to attach any old TV antenna that you have and give it a try.

Question : Is there a safe way to ship a 37" LCD HDTV from NY to Quebec, Canada?
Just bought my PS3 a week ago and I'm planning to buy a 37" LCD HDTV. However I'm planning to move to Quebec, Canada in 4 months. I just want to ship it via UPS or FedEx. Do you think it's gonna come in one piece?

Answer:
UPS or FEDEX is fine. Just make sure you get alot of padding and bubble wrap!!! LCD is not as fragil as Plasma.

Question : How close can my LCD HDTV be to my large home stereo speakers?
I have a rather small living room and I am wondering how close my LCD HDTV can be to my large home stereo speakers. When I move our older (non HD) TV too close (about 12") to our home stereo speakers the screen gets green spots and distortion. I am wondering if being too close to a large speaker will hurt or interfere with the HDTV. Thanks!

Answer:
LCD TVs are not affected by magnets. Put the speakers where you want. You only have to worry about magnetic fields with CRT (Picture Tube) TVs.

Question : Can I hook up my lcd monitor and lcd hdtv at the same time?
I have a geforce ti4200 video card. I have my lcd monitor hooked up to the dvi output. Could I hook up my hdtv to the vga output at the same time? Does the video card send out a signal through both outputs or just the one that is in use?

Answer:
u must be able to configure it so that it can display the image on both the screens.

Question : How do I fix my HP LC3760N LCD HDTV when an intermittent green light is blinking instead of steady power on?
I have an intermittent green light blinking on my HP LC3760N LCD HDTV where the power on light usually comes on. I fell asleep with my TV on during an electrical storm to find my TV in this condition. I have not been able to turn the TV on since, but the blinking green light comes on every time I plug the TV in. Is there a way to fix this problem without spending half the cost (1000/2=500) of the TV?

Answer:
these new tvs are unreliable and fragile and generally only last 4-5 years before the back lighting goes, they don't tell you any of that or that the built-in tuners are obsolete since they cannot receive HD television, I hope it is under guarantee since most faults with these tvs are unrepairable or uneconomic to repair
