This Universal wall mount is the Slimmest universal PLASMA and LCD mount in the world (only .98" from the wall). This universal flat wall mounts will work with most Plasma TV screen and LCD screens from 32" to 60". The super flat design is easy to install and remove. All necessary hardware is included for different wall types. Horizontal and vertical position adjustments allow perfect positioning of the screen regardless of the distance of wall studs...Mounting: The wall plate must be anchored directly to wall studs using the supplied lag bolts. The slots in the wall plate can accommodate a variety of stud spacing, allowing you to easily mount the TV to wall studs that are 16" or 24" on center. Once the wall plate is anchored to the wall studs and the TV rails (with the TV attached) are hooked onto the wall plate, the TV can slide left to right, allowing you to center the TV on the wall. After the TV is secured, it will be held approximately .98" from the wall. Note: Each TV rail has a top and bottom vertical slot. Question : help me please! I need to get the best quality possible on my lcd hdtv monitor?
I can do up to 1080i on the lcd hdtv monitor, but when I check the little tv icon at the bottom of my screen, it says I'm getting 54Mps. What's the conversion rate and how do I get it to be the best quality?
Answer:
Sounds like your low on blinker fluid. Open up your control panel (its in System Preferences) and poor 2 ounces directly onto the computer. This will allow the conversion from the 54mbs you are getting from the intergoogles to transduce to the 1080p signal you are looking for. Once this is done, you will need to restart the computer while holding command+shift+P+R+esc+option+start while staring directly into the sun and shaking your left foot. This will boot you into "Awesome" mode. Then you can make the changes you need in "Displays" (located in Control Panel).

Question : So if I go with a 46 LCD HDTV 1080p what brands and models are some of the best to go with?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has an opinion about what the best options are for 46 LCD HDTV 1080p flat screens. I'm debating between a Samsung or Sharp but I'm not too familiar with what to look for. Anyone have some advice?

Honestly the best thing to do is to look at reviews online and specifications from review sites. There are two models you should consider for the Samsung and Sharp 46 LCD HDTV 1080p. Question : Where can I get a filter capacitor for a ProScan lcd hdtv?

If you are adept at electronics repair and have all of the necessary tools, the reference in the other answer is a good one. But in my experience, the people who have the necessary experience to take on a job like this don't have to ask where to obtain parts. This may be something that you need a professional technician or a very capable do-it-yourselfer to help you with. Good luck.

Question : If you crack the screen of an LCD HDTV can you replace it?
My LCD HDTV 37" just fell off its wall mounts and has a cracked screen. It still powers on okay and when on still displays a part picture (except where the massive crack is) so everything is working okay with it.So basically Im wondering if it possible to replace just the screen?No, I dont have home contents to claim on and Im in the UK.An idea of cost of a replacemet, if possible, would be great thanks.
Answer:
it will cost more than the actual value of the TV, even at trade prices. Cant really give an approximate cost without knowing the model. Only suggestion is to find an identical model for sale on ebay that is being sold as faulty for a cheap price and use it for the screen, or just put your set for sale (you might get £60 - £100 for it). LCD's are not the best, the screen is very week, scratches easily, and even cleaning it with the wrong product can damage the screen.

Try to connect your DVD to your TV using HDMI cables, and make sure your Pioneer DVD have HDMI output, and about your DVR i think you can't go HD with it.

I have a toshiba satellite laptop and trying to connect it to my LCD HDTV, i got the VGA to DVI to HDMI cable adapter and plugged that into my tv but it wont come up on the tv.

Sorry, but you cannot connect VGA to HDMI. That will NEVER work.VGA is an analog signal. HDMI requires a digital DVI video signal to work.The DVI-to-VGA adapter cannot be used that way. It only works for connecting a graphics card DVI-I port to a VGA monitor, because a DVI-I output also sends out a VGA signal.

Question : LCD HDTV do i need a converter box and antenna?
I have an lcd hdtv by magnavox. I do not have cable and want to be able to watch tv. Do i need an antenna or just the converter box to pick up local channels? I am a little confused on what exactly the converter box is able to do.

If your TV is an HDTV (and not a "HD ready" TV), you just need to attach a TV antenna to it and have the TV scan for digital antenna channels. (Hint: if there is no place in the TVs menu to scan for digital channels, it doesn't have a digital tuner and isn't a "HDTV".)A HDTV already has a digital (ATSC) tuner built into it. A "HD ready" TV doesn't have a digital tuner built into it and would need a converter box or HD tuner to receive digital broadcasts.A converter box is connected between an antenna and older TVs. The box takes the digital signals that the antenna picks up (ATSC) and "converts" one of them to the older analog type (NTSC) that non-digital TVs can understand. The only reason that you might want to connect a converter box to a HDTV is if the converter has a better tuner than the one that's built into the HDTV. What kind of antenna you need depends on where you live. In North America all TV antennas can pick up digital broadcasts, so feel free to attach any old TV antenna that you have and give it a try.

Question : What cables do i need to hook up my computer to my lcd hdtv??
i have an olevia lcd hdtv with hdmi, component, dvi, and vga inputs. my computer only has a vga output. do i just use vga to vga? or would convering it help? what about the sound? stereo mini jack??

yes vga to vga will work for the video but you need to get a rca to 1/8" jack y cable to get your left and right audio, and make sure its a stereo jack not mono, and you should be fine.
