Great price and loving it

Cheapest price we could find for wall mount designed for our new tv. We can turn the tv toward the sofa or toward the kitchen, press it against the wall, or pull it out. One thing to keep in mind is that the tv is only flush witht he wall when the arm is off to the side, so centering the base on the wall won't center the tv.

Great unit especially for the price.

I used this mount for an LG 32 inch LCD so it only needed to hold 30lbs which it is doing no problem. I am only able to screw in two of the four screws to the back, but it seems to work just fine. I saw in the other reviews complaints about the bolts and the need to make sure you mount the unit level as it does not adjust to compensate in that manor. I think they must have addressed these problems because the bolts provided are sturdy and the tv has some play to compensate for any mistakes in mounting.

BE warned...

I recently purchased this product for a new TV and I did all my research to be sure that the product would work. However, it did not as the mount covered all my control panels (VIZIO PURCHASERS BE WARNED, just pay for the Vizio mount...it will save you A LOT of frustration!)

I went to send the product back and was told I would have to pay to ship the product to Warehousers. Although this was annoying, I did. I now find out that not only did I PAY to have the item shipped to me, and PAY to ship it back, but i will have about $5.00 deducted from my refund (the price of the product) to cover more shipping costs that were not there when the product was originally shipped to me!

This company policy is RIDICULOUS! Why should the consumer pay more in the return of a product to cover the seller's costs!? I will NEVER buy from this company again!

So buyers, if you are not 100% sure this product will fit your TV then I suggest you find another seller, because this one will give you more aggravation then you need.

And for the record, a better, cheaper mount can be found at target. The trip just might be worth it with all these shipping costs!

The videoSecu Swing LCD Monitar is everything that it says it is. I'm very happy with this product.

Looks good, does the job

I am using this mount for a 27" LCD in my bedroom. Using a swivel mount with tilt works great for almost any room layout. The black powder-coat paint matches the TV, and looks great. Adjustment and locking is easy with the included hex wrench. I would rate this "5 stars" if the mounting screws were better. Made from relatively soft steel, the screw head strips very easily. After ruining one screw, I replaced it with a large black deck screw. It might be advisable to drill small pilot holes before attempting to drive the screws.

Word of caution: If you do not drive the proper mounting screws into the center of a wall stud, if you exceed the specified TV weight limit, or if you try to get by with a really cheap swing arm mount, you may be signing a death sentence for your $500 TV (and perhaps yourself)!

Sturdy and secure flat panel wall mount

I bought this wall mount for a Sony KDL-52XBR 52" flat panel TV. It was easy to install and is very sturdy when attached to wood wall studs. The tilt feature is great to get rid of any glare that may be present from the rear of your viewing room. Best of all is how inexpensive it is compared to other wall mounts I researched. Don't worry about hanging your expensive, large flat panel TV to this one, it'll hold it securely. The only problem experienced in this installation was tightening the bottom mount screws once you mount the TV in place. If you have a large arm, it won't fit between the TV and the wall. You'll need an off-set screwdriver to do it from the bottom OR get someone with a smaller arm (your girlfriend or wife) to tighten the screws. They don't have to be rock-solid tight, just tight enough to lock the bottom clamps in place.

Excellent wall mount

Great product!!! I purchased this wall mount for my 37" Samsung LCD TV and it was very easy to set up and install

Rating :

easy enough

This mount worked great. Throw the brackets on the wall and level it. Attach the other to the back of the TV and there you have it. The only one thing I don't like is that my TV is 32 inches and that's the length of the mount. So basically it is a little more visible than I like it but it's advertised for 32 to 56 I believe

Rating :

Solid and Inexpensive

We're in earthquake country now, so a wall mount is a smart investment if you don't want your TV to fall over during a tremor. For the price... IT'S A STEAL! Very inexpensive, but extremely solid product. Can't believe how easy it was to install either, considering some companies charge $170 to mount a TV nowadays. All it takes is 4 (sizable) screws into your wall studs, 4 smaller screws into the VESA mount on your TV, two more to secure it once the bracket is hung, and that screen is up there SOLID. You'd be a fool not to jump on this if you're in the market for a wall mount.

Rating :

Great Inexpensive Wall Mount!

This wall mount is sturdy and inexpensive, I was expecting the mount to be of low quality but actually, I'm very impressed! I went to go buy some different anchor screws but other than that, this is a great mount for the value, I give it 5 stars overall, great tilt feature as well. I would recommend this mount to anyone who is looking for a great quality, affordable mount.

    Had to return

I've bought this product before and was very happy with it but, after purchasing this recent one, I found out, in my current house I have metal stud walls and not wooden studs. This product can not be used with metal studded walls. I didn't notice any mention of that and had to return it at my own cost...OUCH!! Not too happy.

Well made and easy to put up

Well made and easy to mount on the wall. The bolt are huge so as long as you can find the wood studs it should not fall off the wall. You do need to make sure you find the Studs and you must mount it on the studs.

We are only using a small 15 inch TV. It should adjust for a much larger TV. You may want to check the depth of you TV to make sure your TV will have enought space if you have a large TV. Also for large TVs you should not Tilt the platform.

    I'm very happy.

VideoSecu TV wall mount. Please Report to Amazon if received counterfeit mount without VideoSecu logo. Universal Ultra Slim flat LCD mounts are incredibly easy to install, and feature a low-profile, sliding plate design that places the display very close to the wall for a clean look, while also providing a unique combination of simplicity and security. Its maximum loading is 66lbs. And it fits VESA 75/100 compliant. Will It Fit my LCD? If your LCD Monitor or TV has 4 holes on the back of the screen that are either 75mm (3 inch)or 100mm (4 inch) apart from each other vertically and horizontally this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount and 4 holes should be revealed.

    It works

It's a Vesa Wall mount, Can't really go wrong here. I bought it for my 100x100 mm vesa TV screen so I could hang it in our home workout room - so far so good. It's very sturdy.

LCD wall mount for small flat screens

All installation hardware is provided and the TV mount as sold works well. I used it to install a small flat screen on a boat. It seems to be made of fairly strong metal. The mount is designed so that the TV can be removed from the wall very easily, just by lifting straight up. When the TV is in place, there is a bit of play in the bracket, so I'm not sure it is the best thing for a boat or an RV. If you are using it in a house, etc., then it is a good solid mount for the money.

    No room for plugs.

This really isn't a knock on the product, but I didn't account for the plugs in the back of the TV needing room. Even with a deep set wall outlet the plug from my monitor sticks out about 2 inches. If you really need a flat mount then this would probably work. Construction is solid. Not really worth returning for the 15 bucks i spent on it.

    Rating :

Amazing Quality and Value... Easy to Use...

For under ten bucks this is an amazing product. It works perfectly!

The quality is solid and the design is simple. There's only two pieces. One slides into the other. You mount one plate on the wall with 4 screws and the other plate gets screwed to the monitor with 4 included screws.

The package comes with 3 sets of machine screws in different sizes for mounting the other plate to the screen - so the screws you need for this will probably be included in one of those sets.

The whole thing is very slim - the back of the screen mounts about 5/8" away from the wall - that's just about the closest you could possibly expect with any mount.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Question : What cables do i need to hook up my computer to my lcd hdtv??
i have an olevia lcd hdtv with hdmi, component, dvi, and vga inputs. my computer only has a vga output. do i just use vga to vga? or would convering it help? what about the sound? stereo mini jack??

    Answer:
yes vga to vga will work for the video but you need to get a rca to 1/8" jack y cable to get your left and right audio, and make sure its a stereo jack not mono, and you should be fine.

Question : What's the difference between an Hd ready tv and an actual hdtv ?? also which is better of the two the lcd
which is better that comes with those two, the lcd hdtv or the lcd hd ready tv? IM comfused and dont want to waste my money. Also if I were to buy a xbox 360 what dpi do i need for it? and how would i find it on the advertisement or in the store?

    Answer:
For an Xbox 360, the best resolution is 1080p, so an HDTV that offers this resolution will be what you want. An HDTV-Ready television does not have a built-in HD receiver, while an HDTV does. Look at the picture quality of different sets and determine the best one for your needs -and voila!H a p p yG a m i n g !

Question : For how long a made in egypt LG LCD HDTV 32inchs will last ?
I have just bought a new LG LCD HDTV and its made in Egypt so i was wondering for how long will it last and is it as good as the made in japan LCD TVs ? Thanx in advance.

    Answer:
Most lcd televisions are made by the same standard no matter where they are manufactured. Egypt, Japan is really makes no difference. A good lcd should easily last 20 years or more.

Question : What would you consider is the starting size of a large LCD HDTV?
What would you consider is the average size of a decent LCD HDTV. Im not worried about the size of my room or whatever....etc. I want to buy an LCD HDTV that is just a little larger than normal. So......what would you consider is the starting screen size of a "larger than average" LCD HDTV? The guys at Best Buy recommended a 42in.......what do you think? Do you think a 42+ inches is the starting size of a "larger" TV size?

    Answer:
i know people who have 37" and it suits them just fine for an upgrade. My family just got a 42" but we've been putting off getting one for over 3 years...and probably won't upgrade for another 5 years at least.

Question : So if I go with a 46 LCD HDTV 1080p what brands and models are some of the best to go with?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has an opinion about what the best options are for 46 LCD HDTV 1080p flat screens. I'm debating between a Samsung or Sharp but I'm not too familiar with what to look for. Anyone have some advice?

    Answer:
Honestly the best thing to do is to look at reviews online and specifications from review sites. There are two models you should consider for the Samsung and Sharp 46 LCD HDTV 1080p. Take a look at the Samsung LN46C630 and the Sharp Quattron LE821E or Aquos. Take a look at the following site which is solid for consumer reviews on http://46lcdhdtv1080p-userreviews.com . Hopefully this helps out with your question, good luck.

Question : Is there a safe way to ship a 37" LCD HDTV from NY to Quebec, Canada?
Just bought my PS3 a week ago and I'm planning to buy a 37" LCD HDTV. However I'm planning to move to Quebec, Canada in 4 months. I just want to ship it via UPS or FedEx. Do you think it's gonna come in one piece?

    Answer:
UPS or FEDEX is fine. Just make sure you get alot of padding and bubble wrap!!! LCD is not as fragil as Plasma.

Question : How hard is it to install an LCD HDTV?
I think I found a good deal on a LG LCD HDTV but I'm not sure of the difficulty of installing the thing in my home. I would think it's just like hooking up any other TV other than upgrading my cable box to HD. Any suggestions or help?

    Answer:
You don't even need to upgrade your cable box to HD to use your new HDTV.Just plug it in to the wall.Connect the best available video output from your cable box which your TV supports (HDMI, component video, S-video, or regular RCA video, in that order) to your new TV.Connect the best available audio output from your cable box which your TV supports (optical digital or regular RCA stereo, in that order) to your new TV.Then enjoy!Your present cable box probably doesn't have HDMI, and it may not have component video either. When you upgrade to HD cable, you'll get one and/or the other. You should still be able to use your present cables, but you'll have to buy a new video cable(s) to enjoy the full benefits of higher resolution.

Question : How do i connect my Toshiba Satellite Laptop To my LCD HDTV through VGA and HDMI adapters?
I have a toshiba satellite laptop and trying to connect it to my LCD HDTV, i got the VGA to DVI to HDMI cable adapter and plugged that into my tv but it wont come up on the tv.

    Answer:
Sorry, but you cannot connect VGA to HDMI. That will NEVER work.VGA is an analog signal. HDMI requires a digital DVI video signal to work. The DVI-to-VGA adapter cannot be used that way. It only works for connecting a graphics card DVI-I port to a VGA monitor, because a DVI-I output also sends out a VGA signal.

Question : What is the best way to watch dvds on a lcd hdtv? I hava an xbox360 but thinking about buying an upscaler?
I might invest in a upscaling dvd to hddvd player. Should I? I have a 26" samsung lcd hdtv with hdmi input. Also, if I should, which should i get?

    Answer:
you dont need to invest in to it so soon. xbox 360 attached to hdtv via component input shows great picture. hddvd and blueray are two new upcoming formats but still a lot of controversy going on now. so better wait and enjoy normal dvds on 360 via component cable and relax.cheers

Question : Where can I get a filter capacitor for a ProScan lcd hdtv?
And how much does it cost? I am thinking about buying it from my friend for real cheap. It's a 42" 1080p 720 lcd hdtv. I need to know how much the part is and where I can get it at.

    Answer:
If you are adept at electronics repair and have all of the necessary tools, the reference in the other answer is a good one. But in my experience, the people who have the necessary experience to take on a job like this don't have to ask where to obtain parts. This may be something that you need a professional technician or a very capable do-it-yourselfer to help you with. Good luck.
