look at the socketit could be a telefunken 2 pin connector IEC C7 or C8it could be a 3 pin IEC connector probably a C13 or C14off hand I'd expect it to be an IEC C13 /C14its unlikely but it could be a notched variant of the C13/C14, thats aC15 /16

There is a very small white spot on my LG LCD TV it remains on the screen till the time it is switched on. It is more visible on black or dark background. Please advise what is this and can it be rectified. What should I do ?In future, will there more white spots appearing on screen like this ?

Sounds like a pixel is stuck open but I don't know why it is there when the unit is switched off. The backlights must still be on. That is not good either, those babies get hot and will not last very long if they are on all the time.I'd get it looked at.

Everything I've seen on the feature seems to imply its going to be more personal taste than anything else. Like in theory it should be improving the image and so it kind of should be on. But some people dislike the manner in which it works and after having tried it, felt turning it off gave them the better overall image out of their LG. So you should do the same. Leave it on at times and off at times and see how your eyes find its impact (positive or negative). Either choice you make is equally valid. The key is that its your choice. Its your TV, not someone else.

I got a LG LCD TV and it comes with an Universal Control. I made the remote control the Sony DVD, but I cant make it control the Hyundai Digital Techonology STB. The code isnt listed on manual, does anyone know it?

May be you can try putting Universal Remote Control in-front of Hyundai Digital Techonology STB remote control...sometimes it's able to obtain information from it. OR you can use search mode on Universal Remote Control....it may work
