Question : How to use PC input in LG LCD TV (22LG30R) ?
I have a Laptop (Thinkpad T60) and a LCD TV (22LG30R). I wish to see movies stored in my Laptop using PC input. Suggest me. I also do have a PC and a LCD monitor. I used the same cable to connect my laptop and LCD TV but it didnt work. It says "No Signal". Could someone help me out?

i am having this same problemi just hooked up my HP a810n Tower to my LCD hdtv using a VGA cord. when i goto input and switch it to VGA i get "NO SIGNAL"

All new tv's come with owners manuals. It's a good reference for how to program your tv.

If u have not already purchsed a LG LCD TV please don't if you want peace of mind. I have had a very bad experience with LG, I purchased a LG LCD TV in March 2007. In July 2008, the panel got spoilt, a couple of months after the warranty expired. Not only I had to replace the whole panel (it costs more than a New CRT TV), LG took more than 2 months to replace it. Further, the authorised service engineer wanted to do a underhand repair for the half the price and show on records that the panel was replaced. Again after another 2 months, the power supply board got spoilt. This also had to be replaced and it costs Rs. 2500. There are only three major parts in a LCD TV, the panel+module, power supply and PCB board. Two of them have already conked of on my brand new LCD TV. The total costs of the TV to me after the two repairs is in the range of Rs.60,000!!!. If youwant peace please go for a Sony Bravia, stay away from LG.

It looks like the 47LH40 was discontinued and the 47LD520 replaces it. Not sure how much difference dynamic contrast ratio makes between 70,000:1 and 100,000:1, or where that even comes into play. But everything else looks similar.I am using a 32LH40 as a computer monitor with LG BD370 BluRay player, and like it.So if you can get a closeout deal on the 47LH40, go for it.

Try a lower resolution. A TV displays "no signal" if you are trying to run at a resolution too high for it to handle.

Question : How to set-up my VCR to record from my LG LCD TV?
I lost my manual and i want to record tonights "Footy Show". My LG's has digitial, HD channels, 1 to 99 and all channels is so clear, but when connect my VCR (LG Standard) and select A/V the channel on my VCR is PR-09. I don't know how to record the pogram on my digitial channels?Can someone please help?

Your VCR was not made to record DIGITAL TV CHANNELS....Only the standard TV channels...You'll have to find a TIVO with a Digital Tuner to do what you want it to do...I personally prefer the cable box with the DVR built into it.....it is much easier to use ....

Question : How to you hang a 42" LG LCD tv on the wall?
I am trying to help do this for a friend. I understand that first you have to remove the TV from the stand, and have a wall mount for that size of tv. However, it doesn't seem to be the type of TV that this made for mounting on the wall. Is there something I am missing. I confess, projects like this aren't my specialty. Any input on this matter would be helpful.

Do yourself a favor and pay someone to do it for you. This is the reason they have professional installers.

Answer:
Everything I've seen on the feature seems to imply its going to be more personal taste than anything else. Like in theory it should be improving the image and so it kind of should be on. But some people dislike the manner in which it works and after having tried it, felt turning it off gave them the better overall image out of their LG. So you should do the same. Leave it on at times and off at times and see how your eyes find its impact (positive or negative). Either choice you make is equally valid. The key is that its your choice. Its your TV, not someone else.
