Its easy to view full-hd images with the sd card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an sd card into viera to display photos and full-hd videos on the large screen. Its much more fun when you can view them on a large-screen hdtv with family and friends in 1920 x 1080-pixel high definition and a wide 16:9 aspect ratio.

A great TV without sound output
This TV was sold cheap because in my opinion it had design faults. The most obvious was there was no an individual audio output; which means you can't connect TV sound to external speakers, can't use headset, can't play game in a hi fi mode, etc.
It did have three HDMI output ports. The designer might have thought that HDMI carries sound and video, so it has sufficient output for sound. But what if for those users who did not have or would not use HDMI input on their audio devices? For using a headset you really don't need to carry video signals and most likely there is no HDMI connection for headsets.
It did also have an optical audio connection but the connector was designed such that it did not hold the optical cable.
If you are willing to settle with the weak speakers of its own this TV is ok.

Excellent value
I have 2 larger plasmas and this is my first LCD Flat Panel. The Panasonic TC-32LX14 has all the connections you could need for watching movies & TV, playing games or viewing photos in a great looking, lightweight package. I bought this one to replace a CRT in the bedroom. I would have liked to go bigger (due to a 10-11 ft viewing distance), but for the price this was too good to pass on ($399 at Costco and others). And in actuality this 32-inch works just fine for a bedroom TV. Plus it's lightweight and easy to hang on the wall.
One of my other flat panels is also a Panasonic and the form and function is very similar. The Menus are easy to navigate and the Tuner works great for picking up cable broadcasts (although the channel numbering system is unfamiliar). The remote is clean, simple and easy to use. The picture is great with gaming systems and the cable TV picture straight from the jack is good in standard and great in digital. Some mentioned the sound being an issue. I can attest that it's not up to concert hall sound, but it's definitely loud enough. And if you have a surround sound system then you're golden. Panasonic makes great and reliable products so if you're looking for a a great value in flat panels definitely check this one out.

Great TV but HDMI problem
If this TV didn't have the HDMI cable problem I would easily give it 4.5 stars because the TV views, sound and ease of use is excellent but the VIERA option kills the television. What is the point of having a few HDMI ports if you can't even use it? The TV itself controls the HDMI ports and doesn't recognize a lot of signals because it is expecting the VIERA function I am guessing. I had to return mine, I really didn't want to but it was as if I bought a TV without HDMI ports. I was really disappointed because this was one of the better 32 inch TVs I have bought in a while.

screen went dark after 90 days
I bought this tv in March, 2010. Easy to setup, worked fine for 97 days (just past the 90 day return Policy). Panasonic gave me a repair service to take it to for warranty repairs. That was June 25 and I still don't have it back. The repair guy says he's waiting on parts, Panasonic says they have no record of a part order and that they are having trouble getting hold of the repair service.
At this point, I don't know who is the problem, but I'm not getting much help from either of them.
I will NOT!!! buy another Panasonic product.

Nice TV, great picture but on-screen display lettering is very small and remote is hard to navigate by touch

Good for smaller homes.
I like this TV but it has it's problems that can be fixed with an upgrade from Panasonic. If you use the HDMI cable for picture it fine but you will have audio problems like the sound will be great for a few hours and then goes bad. I have returned one TV so far thinking it was the TV but come to find out it's a problem that Panasonic doesn't tell you until it happens! You will need to contact the Techs about this and they will send you a SD card that will upgrade the TV and this should fix the Audio problem, they say that everyone thinks that LCD TV are still a TV like the old picture tube type but no these TV's are a computer inside and need upgrades just like your home computer does. Oh and there are no charges for this fix,Panasonic will send you the upgrade for free. I hope this helps others out when you purchase this LCD TV. Enjoy.

Broke after 3 months of little use.
I guess since Amazon doesn't sell this TV few will see this but here it goes.
Had the TV for 3 months with little use and then it broke. The TV picture goes in and out and you can only turn it on and off. What happens is you turn it on and everything is fine for 5 seconds then the picture and sound go out and the picture will come back every once in a while but that is it.
So now I will start the return/repair process but regardless of what happens with that a unit that only works for a few months deserves a low rating.

Just pray it works. . .
Before it broke (after less than six months) this was a wonderful TV--not too pricey, great picture, etc., etc. BUT. It stopped communicating with anything about three weeks ago, and we took it to the local panasonic "service center". From then on, it has been a nightmare. Panasonic has the worst customer service EVER. We are under warranty, which apparently for Panasonic means they can treat us horribly without any sort of repercussions. The part is on order, and no, we won't let you talk to anyone at Panasonic who works in the warranty department. No, we can't tell you when the part will be in. No, we won't give you a new TV, no we won't give you a loaner, no we don't care that you have no TV. We will never, ever, buy from Panasonic again.

I love this TV!
This is my first LCD TV, and I absolutely love it! The picture is great, it has a wide viewing angle (meaning you can sit/stand off to the side and still see the picture clearly), and the menus are easy to navigate and pretty self-explanatory. Setup was not too bad - I managed to get it out of the box, assembled, and hooked up to the indoor antenna without help from anyone else, and hooking up my DVD player was easy too.
I highly recommend it!

Nice find!
I got a great deal on this tv when I bought it and I do not regret it. Have a BluRay player connected to it now and the picture is fantastic. Sound is kind of weak, but then again what do you expect from such a small/thin tv, there's no room for speakers. If you want a good sound quality for movie watching, get a sounbar or surround system of some sort. We have this in our bedroom so its fine for now. If we want to watch something for special effects, we watch it on the Plasma with the surround system.

Pleasantly surprised by HD channel capture
I was pleasantly surprised by the Panasonic 37" picture quality and even happier that the available cable High Definition channels were found without the aid of a digital or HD cable box during the channel setup search. The ease of ordering and very rapid delivery have been additional incentives to this very positive buying experience.

Viera Good CHOICE
There were some contradictions in the instructions on hooking up to cable box AND in the booklet on how to match the Cable Remote control to the TV.
I could not get it right, even after a little help from my friends and had to turn to COX cable to guide me thru it.
NOW its a great picture, altho the sound seems to have an echo effect on some movies.

The delivery men were very professional and setup the TV to make sure that it worked. TV is very nice. No problems whatsoever.

3+ YEARS and counting
I've owned (and religiously used) this exact projector since the fall of 2006 when I set-up my movie room. I came back to this page to get some technical information so I can finally get a 2nd one for the bedroom. When I noticed all the reviews (which usually are from people who have, at best, a month or two of usage), I thought I'd throw in my experience as a long-time user. The width of picture in my movie room is about 110" diagonal (the wall is painted an extreme matte white -- you don't want (or need) anything reflective -- trust me -- someone in the room will be blinded depending on where they sit, if the screen reflects).
I never had a problem with my projector (I bought it referbished from AMAZON, as I said in '06) -- and (believe it or not) the original bulb didn't give me "REPLACE BULB" warning until a couple of weeks ago. I've always kept my brightness on LOW and the settings (usually) on DYNAMIC and it gave me close to 4500 hours. Time will tell if this is within the Bell-curve or I just got lucky. Not wanting to press my luck, I bought a new bulb from projectorquest (about $240). The installation was easier than replacing my ink-jet's cartridges -- just read the manual online and be sure to reset the usage meter (instructions are in the manual).
As for the quality. Excellent. We sit at least 6-8 feet from the wall it projects to .. getting closer will start to give you a screen-door effect in the white areas. My movie room is a sub-basement, but even with lights at half brightness, it's more than acceptably bright. I watch my HDTV programs from DirectTV (though, I switched to UVerse when they had their spat with Versus).. and I also use an upscaling DVD [that's an important component] and the quality makes me really laugh at people who feel the need to get a Blu-Ray. (I'm not saying a Blue-Ray doesn't look crisper -- it looks fabulous -- but I (nor anyone I've had as a guest) has ever thought that anything we've watched on DVD needed to look sharper.. especially for 30%-50% more per DVD).
The price of these new is amost exactly what I paid for mine refurbished in '06, so there is that to be said.
Get one. There's not a single feature I could think of that someone would need for a movie room that this one didn't have. The iris can make the picture bigger or smaller without moving the unit. The fan isn't noisy. The picture can be adjusted in every possible way... and the 360-knob gets used all the time when the projector gets moved from place to place, and may very well be the most convenient thing about it.
My bedroom's demands for size and so forth aren't as stringent, so I'm still shopping for a cheaper alternative. But, I'm wavering just because with this unit, there wouldn't be any surprises.

LAMP BURNS OUT - REPLACEMENT DOESN'T WORK
We purchased our projector 2 years ago. The lamp stopped working and we bought a replacement ($300). It still wouldn't project light so we called Panasonic Tech Support, they told us to take it to one of their repair shops. They thought it was the ballast and ordered a part. They can't get it to light up and have called Panasonic. During the last 3 weeks that they have had our projector, another one has come in with the same problem. They are still waiting for Panasonic to get back to them.

Best Value Home Theater Projector
This is hands down the best projector for the money. I think LCD technology is so much more stable and better technology than DLP and this unit doesn't have any "screen door" effect that is often complained of on LCD projectors. I've had mine for almost two years and love it. I have a 92" screen and HDTV looks great. My only caution is you really need a dedicated movie room for this unit with completely controlled lighting. It has a relatively low light output and you'll need to eliminate ambient light for ideal viewing. I have track lighting with a dimmer switch in a basement room and it works great. One more suggestions, use a grey screen designed for HDTV with a 1.8 gain. I recommend the "GreyWolf" series.

Questions & Answers
Question : Panasonic LCD TV Model TX 15 LV1 as a computer monitor?
Can I use my Panasonic LCD TV Model TX 15 LV1 as a computer monitor? How do I connect it? What do I need to doThanks,Doug
Answer:
That particular Panasonic set is a 480p EDTV with pretty low resolution (854x480 max), and not suitable for use as a monitor. That is why it only has component, composite, S-video and coax only. You can hook it up to a computer only if your computer has a video card with those kinds of analog outputs, or if you use a scan converter device to convert a computer's VGA signal to one of those.Personally I wouldn't bother. I'd rather hook up a computer to a higher-resolution HDTV set, such as those that can do 1080p High Definition (which is 1920x1080) through a digital DVI-to-HDMI connection.

Question : Whats the difference between these two Panasonic LCD TV's?
Looking on Amazon and a few other sites, these two TV's look similar on paper, but there is no way of making a clear comparison as the specs never seems to be laid out similarly enough. Anyone know why there is such a price difference when the cheaper of the two DOES have freeview? One is LCCD TX32LXD60, a 32" Widescreen LCD screen TV around £750, and the other is TX-32LXD60 - 32" Widescreen Viera HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview around £600.
Answer:
Apparently the 600 doesn't have freeview and the 60 does. You know this isn't a full hd ready set? It only has 768 lines compared to the full hd ready sets which have 1080 linesTo get the best prices, try this price comparison sitewww.pricegrabber.co.uk

Question : Whats a good Panasonic lcd tv?
Heres what i want in it: 46/47 inch120/240 refresh ratecontrast ratio doesnt matter much to mehas to be lcd.i really dont want to buy from another company because im gettin 30% from a friend.but i cant find a lcd from panasonic over 37" on their site for some odd reasonthe reason why i dont want plasma is because ill be playing on my ps3 a lot too and i dont want the image burn in
Answer:
Panasonic's specialty is plasma.Good plasmas (like Panasonics) now incorporate features which can prevent burn-in. PLUS, LCD televisions and monitors can suffer from a similar phenomenon known as static image retention, in which the image gets stuck just like burn-in, but is caused by the crystals getting stuck.

Question : Which is better Panasonic or LCD tv's?
Im looking for a 32" TV for my bedroom and a 50" TV for the living room and i heard that the bulbs in the LCD tv's go out in about 2 yrs and the warranty doesnt cover it soooo even though the Panasonic needs recharged every so often its actually better to buy it.
Answer:
LCD FLAT PANEL TVS do not use the replaceable lamps...PROJECTION LCD and DLPs do.Keep that in mind...Panasonic Plasmas are the most reliable, well built plasmas around, with a good company supporting it.With LCD Flat Panel TV sets, you can choose SONY (better electronics/engineering) or Samsung (another good choice, slightly less than Sony's)

Question : Just got comcast digital cable, how do I make that remote control the volume on my Panasonic LCD TV?
Please help. That actually worked but the volume just shows it going up and down, doesn't actually change the volume.
Answer:
You should have a manual that came with it. Its in the area about Volume Lock. I've had TimeWarner and Wowway cable and both remotes work the same (Ohio). Not sure about Comcast, but if its the same Universal remotes I've had with both companies, then you do this:Make sure you're in cable mode first, click the Cable button.Press and Hold setup button until it blinks twicePress 993 (light will blink twicePress Vol + key onceThat simply unlocks, now to lock it to the TVIts the same as above except the step where you hit Vol + you hit the TV button instead.
