Great product.

This was purchased for a Samsung 40" LED. The mount is an excellent value and a very sturdy product. The included hardware will cover any configuration you have. For this price I was a little skeptical, thinking it may be a thin piece of junk. Far from it! I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Love and learn a lot from this TV

I bought this TV for $1216 from Amazon.
Here my story:

1)Only 4 days after placed the order I got the TV.

2)CEVA company (delivery): will not install the stand unless you give them tip. I gave them $20. (three stars)

3)After connect to the digital cable box, the screen had purple and green waves go horizontaly and buzzing sound. So I went to buy a Monster HDMI cable, it costs me $86.I went home and found out my cable box didn't have HDMI slot. Made a trip to the cable store and exchange the newer box. The picture is perfect now, but the closed caption is not available for any movie and channel.(Enlish is my sencond language,I need caption for the English accent movie)

I'm going to return the Monster cable and buy the cheaper one from Amazon.

4)Internet@TV was easy to set up but not working until I get the Linkstick wireless LAN or Blueray DVD

5)Installed my Samsung DVD with White, Red, Yellow cables: got black and white picture. So my next step is buy the new Samsung Blueray DVD.

At last, I like this TV but I spent too much time and money on it. If you don't need the internetTV, buy the regular LCD TV.

After buying this TV I am a huge Samsung fan. Do not hesitate to buy this TV if you are in the market for a new LED TV. I have rewatched all my DVDs because they look sooo much better on this TV. And yes we got the tv hooked up to wireless internet for movie and tv downloads--works flawlessly!

This TV is the single most beautiful television I've ever seen. The picture quality surpases anything I've seen to date. Worth every penny though when I bought it it was priced higher than it is now.

Samsung NO SUPPORT poor customer service

I just purchased series 7000 40 HD TV and part of the hype is ability to stream video to it. Well after getting it, the software and tools samsung provides stink, but samsung in their wisdom uses open source and other third party tools lime Samygo was availble. Works great and samsung does have a good picture. Well - the firmware version on TV was 1016 and SamyGo worked fine, until another feature called auto firmware update on TV started. It asked if I wanted to update, sure why not. The TV downloaded via my network and installed 1017 firmware.

The 1017 not only blocked ability to revert back to 1016, but encrpyted all widgets and USB add on's like SamyGo. So Samsung has decided to let their developers cripple use of third party tools and enhancements. Not only have they done this, their tools don't work anymore and they WILL NOT help you if you call.

This TV is worth NO MORE than $700.oo - don;t buy this and stay away from SAMSUNG - Sorry SAMSUNG you make great TV's but your lack of support and process of stopping people from added functionality is just STUPID.

Fabulous TV, great transaction

I've had my eye on this TV for a while. Best Buy used to have it, but no more. We wanted it, but at a fair price. You couldn't possibly do better than buy it through Amazon. It's an amazing TV with an exquisite picture. We had it in less than a week at an astonishing price. Couldn't be happier.

Great TV - But

I ordered this TV for my restaurant after some research. Ordered from Amazon. The TV is great. Crystal Clear picture. I hooked it up to an over the air antenna, and get about 24 digital channels. The supplier for these TV's is another story. They called me and said they were out of stock and wanted to substitute another TV, I said OK, I need a TV, the next day, that TV was suddenly unavailable, but for $300 more I could upgrade. I had had enough at this point and told them to just cancel the order and refund my money. The next day the first TV I ordered showed up!. I think Amazon needs to look into these characters, this is the first Amazon purchase I felt uneasy that I might be getting ripped off. Scary, yes, but fortunately it all worked out in the end.

We received the TV within the stated time frame. It was set up and ready to go in a very short time. The picture is awesome. Going from a 36" to a 46" TV makes a huge difference in what you actually see, especially for sports programs.

Slim LED samsung just fine

Love it, picture is great. I use this as 3rd computer monitor at work for large group reviews, as well as occasionally a TV. People are blown away by the HD picture from an antenna.
Love it, very happy.
I also purchased the dedicated Samsung hanging hardware looking for a slim look. Paid a fortune but it was supper easy to install. Look on U-tube for a 7 min video which goes through the hanging process, the included instructions are poor. You can thank me later.
One nit picking complaint, I had an outlet installed on wall. The power cord is now way too long and makes the TV stick out from the wall more than it is supposed to.
As to 120 vs. 240 in the store you can see a difference as you can see with edge vs. backlit LED. For my purpose no reason to pay more when this TV rocks.
Only thought, if this was my only TV and I was a super picky person I would splurge for the 240 and backlit. However, I suggest you go to the store and compare them side to side.
Not like the 120 has a bad picture, the Difference is a great vs. a super picture.
Bottom line,
Great TV good buy.

Fabulous buy for a fabulous monitor/HDTV

No dead pixels, arrived fast in perfect shape. It is a sleek, good looking unit (but it does show the dust). A bonus is our Samsung TV remote and monitor remote are interchangeable for basic functions. Some reviews didn't like the reflective frame, I waited to see if my husband would even notice...he didn't, and I have no problem with it at all. Ditto for the on/off button, not a big enough issue to fret about, and I actually like the way it works...sort of futuristic. It was hooked up in less than 20 minutes, and it fits well on our small computer desk next to our printer. We hooked up external speakers so I can't comment on speaker quality. An impressive upgrade for a petite price...nice!

Pretty darn good

I have bought two of these tvs now and have been very pleased with them. If you read the reviews they pretty much nail this tv. I have these in the kids rooms and they are excellent for the watching dvds and playing Playstation 3. The picture is very sharp on the Playstation 3. Their friends come over and comment on how much better the picture looks on this tv compared to theirs. The only downfall I have found is the speakers are a little weak but for a small room they are more than adequate.

useless warranty

I was very happy with the features when I bought this. I wasn't expecting the sound to go bad within months. I wasn't expecting to have the same problem after I shipped it to Samsung for repairs. When it did exhibit the same problem again, I asked Samsung to provide a different unit. Their reply: I would have to have the same problem three times before they would do anything other than "fix" it again and return it to me. So, I shipped it to them again. I pulled it out of the box and set it up only to find that the problem with the sound was even worse than it was when I had sent it to them!

Samsung's response this time was to offer to send me a refurbished unit. Given that this means I will be receiving a unit that their repair team refurbished I have absolutely no confidence that I will have a unit that works. I will simply be waiting to see what issues the refurbished unit demonstrates.

I would not advise buying Samsung's products. It doesn't help to have a warranty if they are not able to back it up. I thought the three year warranty was going to ensure that I had a working unit. Each time I send it to them I have weeks without any unit. Samsung's only accommodation is to say they're sorry for the trouble. Really? I have seen no evidence that they care to have their customers purchase Samsung products in the future.

Love It

I was truly skeptical in purchasing this HDTV/Monitor online due to what you see, is not always what you get. I figured this TV would be smaller than my previous one which was ok for a bedroom size. Since this is my first purchase of an HD component, I then analyzed what I didn't care for such as the non-sturdy stand base that, the fact that if I put my TV Monitor on top of my dresser as my previous TV was on the viewing angle became hard to see, everything was going dark the farther I go from it, the poor sound quality, and the lack of the original red, yellow and white RCA connectors.

With all said above, I found work around solutions. I purchased a TV stand to help with viewing angle, cheap amplified speaker system for better sound, and HDMI cord for my DVD player. Although my post may sound negative, I love my TV/Monitor. I've had it for a year now and I haven't found a reason why I shall replace it nor has it failed on me. I also use this to share between my cable and PC... Feels like a purchased a video card since the graphics are gorgeous on Windows 7.

I've thought about purchasing a bigger inch just solely for cable and use the 22" as a Monitor, but I'm being just greedy lol. Oh, if I didn't mention the picture/video quality is perfect. And if not in use, I just turn it off since many people have stated online that some HDTVs may experience burn-ins.

If you plan to use this product as monitor for a computer using Windows 7, look elsewhere. Unfortunately, Samsung chooses not to upgrade their product's software..... It is completely useless unless you have previous versions of windows.
