Excellent Picture, Great Quality, Incredible Value
What an incredible television. You cannot beat this TV for the price. The BAD REVIEW listed on this site is for a different Samsung TV so I am a little confused as to why it remains. Do not let that bad review sway you from this purchase. The black trim around the screen is shiny black but the screen is matte finish so if you have glare issues like I do, this TV is great. The sound quality is just typical TV speaker quality; very little bass. I bought a set of Sony Shelf speakers on this site for $49.00 and they sound awesome (hooked up through a tuner). All my electronics integrated perfectly with this TV. You will be amazed at the quality of this TV and will ponder how you got such a great TV for the price. If your worried about the 60hz, there is no noticeable difference between it and the 120hz.

Great TV at a Great Price
This Samsung TV is excellent. The only drawback would be that it is not 120 Hz but my husband and myself can't tell the difference. We had been shopping around and this was a great deal.

JUNK! CRAP! CHEAP! BROKE! RETURNED, and bought a BETTER MODEL
Yes, there are some good reviews, but none that have had this TV for a long period of time. You can take the chance in buying, HOPING you won't get a DUD, but the chances are slim as I hear Samsung has not fixed this problem yet. I bought this from Walmart a week ago and the picture was beautiful, BUT THESE ARE KNOWN FOR THE BACKLIGHT GOING OUT and that is what mine did....A WEEK LATER! It is a circuit card that goes bad, and Samsung has never fixed them. I will NEVER buy a Samsung again. Looking at Sony now!
UPDATE: I did buy another Samsung (I'm probably an idiot) from Crutchfield, and it is the LN52B630 model. It (Unlike this model) has 5 STARS (BUT I will say SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!!!!!). Pretty much the same TV, but updated, without all of the problems, more options, lighted remote, With an ETHERNET cable, you can get Stocks, weather and the latest news right on the TV screen, and so on. PLUS it is 120hz which gives a smoother picture! NICE OPTIONS, NICE PIC, and I will update later if it is NICELY built if it lasts. If it does not last, I am going straight to SONY!

Use the P2370HD as a bathroom TV. Great product, great picture, great size. I only found two 23" 1080P TV on the market... Samsung and Vizio. I tried the Vizio first...did not like it at all...sent it back within the first week...also cost more than the Samsung ($324.74 after tax for Vizio vs $299.21 for Samsung). The Samsung is a better product...the only deficiency is the sound depth quality being a bit lacking due to the small size (vizio sound quality is much worse...plus lots of interference). Ordered the Samsung from Amazon on a Saturday afternoon to be sent "regular" mail...and received it postage free on Tuesday...great service. Am happy with the Samsung P2370HD 23" 1080P HDTV for what I am using it for...and am happy to recommend.

This Samsung is really great!
We put this television in our kitchen and have been very, very happy with it. Just know it only has 1 HDMI input, but the picture is really good with our HD AT&T U-verse. This is a great TV to get for small rooms.

Don't use this TV as a Monitor for your Laptop/PC: Terrible Text Resolution
Caveat Emptor:
I am an electrical engineer, and I tried this TV based on the favorable reviews of this TV as a monitor. I have a Dell laptop with an HDMI connector, and a high res video card, and though I could connect and display a picture at 1080p (1920x1080 resolution), the resolution was not crisp, and there were noticable artifacts with text not being smooth and other image distortion.
I'm surprised that the electronics on this Samsung 27" TV are not as good as my Samsung 24" Syncmaster 240HD I purchased two years ago, because that TV is working beautifully with 1920x1080p monitor resolution on the same laptop both for TV and monitor mode. This is not a driver issue, because my laptop also works with another Samsung HD monitor at work.
I was in the Costco store here in Palo Alto, and I tried both the 23" and 27" Samsung HDTVs #2770HD and #2370HD with my laptop's HDMI connection, and the picture was terrible for text.
I ended up buying another Samsung 27" Monitor, a different model without the HDTV circuitry, because of this issue, though it was frustrating buying a monitor that had only a single HDMI, and no remote.
That being said, if you are happy with using this Samsung HDTV with your Xbox, or Cable TV, this TV has a good picture. But for a monitor, this TV is not suitable for my purposes, and I returned it.

cheap for a reason
First off, we have a 61" Samsung in the family room that we love, so brand loyalty pulled us to the p2370hd, but so did Cost&&'s incredible price on this TV this month. We were intending to replace a trusty Sony 17" flatscreen mini-monster in the bedroom with this guy, which we've had for a week, and I'm returning it today. Here's why:
- Picture just not that great unless on an HDTV station. - Picture not very bright on any station. - Sound is pathetically bad. Fiddled with everything to try for better sound - the EQ, surround effect - nothing helps much, and keep in mind our demands for this TV were not very high: news morning and night, and some late night olympics watching this past week of course.
I was surprised not to see other reviews commenting on the weak sound of the p2370hd. Lots of reviews on the competing 23" Vizio note lowsy sound on that unit (which is the only other one Cost&& carries in this size range), so I guess for the meantime we're sticking with our old Sony!

Question : How To Watch HD 1080 content from Computer to SAMSUNG LCD TV Series 3?
I have HD1080 movies on my pc and I want to watch them on my SAMSUNG LCD TV Series 3, but I can't understand how to connect my PC to LCD TV to watch High definition content. Please help.
Answer:
You will have to get a PC with a HDMI OUT port on it. You will then have to connect the cord to the HDMI IN port on the Television. Only some computers have HDMI out port on them, so if you don't get a VGA cable and connect it to your Television. The port of a VGA had a sign that looks like I D I that sorta. 'The HDMI port is a lot smaller then the VGA port. All depends on the computer you have. good luck!

I just bought a new 32" lcd samsung tv, and i was hoping to use it both as a computer screen and a tv. Is there i way i can watch tv, and have my computer screen PIP'ed while i watch tv?

Question : How do I stop ghosting and temporary burn in on my Samsung LCD TV?
I have a Samsung LE26R41B 26" LCD TV.However, I notice 'ghosting' on dark pictures (like in some games, night times in films for example). Also, temporary burn in happens a LOT, like for leaving a picture on for 5 minutes sometimes! Can these be stopped or reduced?
Answer:
make sure all connections are hand tightend and the less amount of games, vcr/dvd players it goes through, the better the signal, unless, which i do, use rca connections for ur games and vcr/dvd player, or an s-video cord.

Question : Why does my Samsung LCD tv have a shadow?
I've had the tv for about 3 years and for a while now it looks like there is a faint black mark on the the right side of the screen. It sort of looks like a shadow. But it's super annoying and I was just wondering if there is some way to fix it or if we have to buy a new tv.
Answer:
im guessing that the pixels are burning out, it happens with computer monitors too, if you use it too much they eventually burn out, or you just have a faulty tvyou would have to buy a new screen or parts to fix it, or a new tv

Question : I have a Samsung LCD TV and want to connect a Dell M1210 Laptop?
Samsung Tech says I must have 1920x1080 resolution from my laptop. I am using VGA Cable and launching signal but because the max from video card is 1280x800 He and Dell are saying I cannot connect. They claim the TV has a filter that will not accept signals outside range. I also cannot change video cards. Anyone have suggestion?
Answer:
I can see where the requirement to have 1920x1080 resolution might be an issue if you were using the HDMI (digital) input. But, since you are using the VGA input, that should not be an issue. I have a Samsung LCD TV and have connected a laptop with a VGA cable and it works fine. The TV automatically synchronizes to my 1024x768 resolution on the laptop.
