Nice bang for your buck.
All around great tv. Picture quality is very great, sound, and ease of use. The remote is my favorite, with the favorite channel function, it's so easy to breeze through the channels I watch the most. This tv is great for the big size, and the small price.

Incredible picture
I bought this TV a few weeks ago and was amazed by picture quality compare with my old analog Toshiba. Especially if you are on HD channels. Sport, Animal Planet, Discovery, History HD will blow you away. And price at AMAZON on Black Friday week was $50 less then in Best Buys plus free shipping. Delivery was arranged by shipping company who called and made an appointment so there were no problems with delivery also. Very pleased by AMAZON and SAMSUNG.

about 5 days after purchasing this item, i got an email telling me that this TV was out of stock and that they wanted to send me a "comparable" TV

Great buy...
Got this TV on black Friday and I love it. Good picture quality. Only complaint is there are only two HDMI outputs, I use one for my cable box and the other for my PS3. All and all I'm very happy with the television.

Exceeded Our Expectations
A great TV for a really reasonable price. We couldn't be happier with the picture quality, ease of use, and simple set-up. This is a bedroom TV that sits perpendicular to a large, 3-paned glass slide and opposite two very large windows and yet the picture has no glare in full Florida sun. Our only complaint is that the TV's speakers produce very poor sound quality. We remedied that problem by hooking the TV to a small Onkyo receiver with Bose speakers and the sound is now terrific. We waited 7 months to write a review to see what problems might develop and there have been absolutely none. A great set for the money with an outstanding picture.

Great Picture, But has inherent power supply board design issue
I bought this around 1 year before and I can tell you that the image quality and aesthetic appeal are great. But the downside is that this TV has a very basic design issue with its power supply. The electrolytic capacitors used in the power supply are low voltage rated and will eventually blow up(if you are unlucky). The symptoms are clicking sound when powered up, delay in powering up.. And the TV will not power up after a few days. As far as I know, this is a common problem in most of their models released during this time and is a very basic issue which they should have recalled and replaced the faulty capacitors. As a solution, you can replace the capacitors very easily if you are good with handling a soldering iron. I replaced them and it is working good. But I would think that most of the customers would not want to go through the trouble of opening it up and repairing. But other than that, this TV is great and I really love watching movies. I have a hometheatre as the sound does not match with the picture performance of the TV (that is understandable and I dont think of it as a minus).

The auto shut-off issue is real and I lived through it
As an owner of a Samsung 52750 I am quite torn. We love the tv and we choose it because of the quality of the image and features (the sound quality, sizes, and the swivel base are really nice), and ultimately for the price point. But we did live through the hell that is the 'auto shut-off' issue you will find mentioned by several reviewers here and on other sites.. and it is real. And like others have said, it started for us by just turning off once every few days and coming back up, then it got more frequent over a couple months, to a point where it wouldn't come up all the way again at all.. it would just cycle through restarting over, and over and over. Samsung support was good in expediting the fix to a local repair rep, but then we got put in a queue of about a week or more for them to get out and repair it. What's worse is it took them 5 (!) trips to our house to finally replace the right part that fully corrected it. So that means we lived without a normal functioning tv for nearly 2 months, said and done. Fortunately, we've been pretty much issue-free for about 10 months now, but it has shut off a couple times and has not seemed to continued. But we do live on the edge of our seats with this and the warranty is up, so knock on wood, we hope it's behind us. And although really do love the tv, I can't say I'd recommend taking the risk. We also know 3 friends of friends that had the same issue, so it is very real.

It's Not Worth the Savings; Get the Sony
This TV was great for one year. Last week, one month after the warranty ran out, it started to turn itself off for a few seconds, randomly, in the middle of a TV show or while playing a DVD. The screen goes black, but the audio stays on through our soundbar (which we had to purchase because the sound from the TV itself is practically unintelligible.) Samsung, apparently, is known for its terrible customer service and was true to its reputation, having no interest in a TV which is out of warranty. After doing some research online, we found hundreds (maybe thousands, literally) of complaints about this (and other) Samsung models, all of which have this exact problem that kicks in after a year or so. The consensus seems to be that the capacitors Samsung uses are known to go bad, but Samsung does not admit a problem. Our blackouts have been going on for a week or so, but from everything I've read, they will become longer and more frequent, until finally the TV won't go on at all. Some people have fixed their TVs with capacitors bought for a few dollars from Radio Shack, but this requires opening up the back and having soldering skills, not something I'm about to attempt. There's even a YouTube video on how to do it. Of further interest: there is a law firm that is currently investigating filing a class action lawsuit against Samsung, based on consumer complaints, and one can sign up on line. All this information is available by Googling "Samsung blackout problems". I certainly wish I'd known this before spending close to $1000 on this TV in December 2008, and I based my purchase on the hundreds of great reviews I found on Amazon.

Questions & Answers
Question : Will I be able to use my roof top antenna with my Samsung LCD TV after the digital transition?
I have a 32" Samsung LCD TV. I can view HD channels with my roof top antenna presently. I am assuming that means that I do not need a converter box, however, if I am wrong please advise me otherwise. Will I still be able to use my roof top antenna after the transition to digital. We don't want to pay for cable or Satellite. We like local television.
Answer:
Yes you will. That tv has the digital tuner built in it. Don't worry You are good to go!!

Question : How much do I have to pay as custom to but a 32 samsung LCD TV from US?
I was wondering if anyone now how much I will be paying to custom if I buy a brand new samsung 32" LCD TV from US? ( price that I will buy is c700.
Answer:
You'll have to contact CRA to find the duty (if any). If it's built outside the US or Mexico, and it almost certainly is, you'll have to pay duty. You'll also pay GST and are responsible for PST (they don't usually collect that at the border, you are 'required' to submit it yourself in most cases). Of course, if you're from Quebec or (I think) NB, it will be collected as part of the harmonized sales tax along with GST.All those taxes are on the landed price, after duties, btw.

Question : I have a Samsung LCD TV and want to connect a Dell M1210 Laptop?
Samsung Tech says I must have 1920x1080 resolution from my laptop. I am using VGA Cable and launching signal but because the max from video card is 1280x800 He and Dell are saying I cannot connect. They claim the TV has a filter that will not accept signals outside range. I also cannot change video cards. Anyone have suggestion?
Answer:
I can see where the requirement to have 1920x1080 resolution might be an issue if you were using the HDMI (digital) input. But, since you are using the VGA input, that should not be an issue. I have a Samsung LCD TV and have connected a laptop with a VGA cable and it works fine. The TV automatically synchronizes to my 1024x768 resolution on the laptop.

Question : how do i connect some kef floor standing speakers to my samsung LCD TV?
i have kef speakers and whant to put them to my tv. but do i need an amp and how do i connect the amp to my tv?
Answer:
you will need a amp/receiver the Sony STRDG510 is a good choice at £199.99 at richer sounds if you can afford it go for the onkyo tx sr605 at £399.99 both have hdmi inputs and outyou better off getting a good amp/receiver to make use of the kef floor standing speaker to its full potential. I have the Kef Q7 floorstanding connected to the onkyo 605 and they sound superb.as for hdmi connect 1 from your dvd/blu ray player to the receiver then hdmi out to your tv.some amp/receivers will need the hdmi and optical cable to get picture and sound. The onkyo do both from the hdmi. Also banana plugs to attach the speaker cables to your receiver. Cost about £5.00 a pair or go to ebay you will get some good ones on there 10 plugs for less than £7Good luck with your choicewww.richersounds.co.uk

Question : how do i set non cable channels on my samsung lcd tv?
im trying to set the channels on my new Samsung 32" Lcd 720p Hdtv and i do not have cable. I keep getting weak or no signal.
Answer:
Get an antenna, connect it to your tv, run the over the air channel scan as outlined in your owner's manual. If you still can't get a signal, you can try moving the antenna closer to a window, and then try an antenna with a signal booster, if all that fails, an outdoor antenna could work. Or you may be too far from any broadcast towers to pick up over the air signals and will need cable.

Question : How to reset picture settings of a Samsung LCD TV?
Any ideas on picture reset for my 46" Samsung LCD? I've got the LE46B554 model and messed up the picture size settings. I can only remember "stretched" was displayed very briefly on the screen while i was playing with the remote controls, ever since then the pictures appears cut-off and not full.
Answer:
On my Samsung HDTV, there is a 'PICTURE' button on the bottom row of the remote.?? There are also settings in the 'MENU' under 'PICTURE',,,scroll way down to 'PICTURE OPTIONS' then 'SIZE'...set it for 16 by 9 for normal digital stations..

Question : What indoor antena to get for samsung lcd TV?
I am getting Samsung LCd TV "LA26B450" and i dnt have any cable point for antena in my room. I have been looking for a antena but seems confusing aboutt the reception they get. What kind of indoor antena should i get? I am located in australia. Thanks
Answer:
In order for a indoor antenna to work you would have to live fairly close to the stations you want to receive (20 miles max) reliably. If you have a local store like "Radio Shack" they can advise you what kind of aerial you would need for your area and provide same for you. I would probably buy a cheap set of rabbit ears first and try them. If reception was acceptable I would stop there. If reception was unacceptable I would then go to a local knowledgeable source.
