Satisfactory product

Can't complain about anything except the sound quality, and the fact that there's not much choice available. I was comparing it with my other TV (Toshiba) that I bought in Asia many years ago when there wasn't any flat screen TV available yet. That Toshiba had a built-in sub-woofer and surround sound capability. I can enjoy deep-low thundering bass and smooth high pitch treble sound (like those coming from the high-hats of a drum set) without needing any extra amp & speaker set.
Never seen such thing in the US market, not to mention the multi-system feature (as opposed to NTSC System only here in the US).
Why are the TVs sold in the US always worse (less feature) than those sold in Asia?

What a pleasant surprise

As i was researching purchase of a TV, i came across this product on Amazon. I was a little concerned at first that I wouldn't like it or that it would get to me in horrible shape but that was not the case. Although shipping took a little while (I opted for the free shipping) it surely was worth the wait. Amazon shipped this product through CEVA and I must say I was pleased that they took the time to open the box, inspect the product with me and set it up for me and did not leave until they were certain everything was working and satisfactory.

The TV has performed fantastically and has far exceeded my expectations for the price. I have had it for 2 months now and still come home from work to fiddle with it. Movies show great on this (particularly interesting picture with auto motion plus). I have this connected with the WIS09ABGN wireless adapter and it works pretty well. I haven't had any issues with it other than the cable company screwing with the signal (a la verizon) when I stream shows, particularly in HD. The internet apps are awesome and include vudu, netflix, blockbuster, cinemanow, hulu plus, pandora etc etc. which i use constantly (hence the cable company nonsense).

Overall I am beside myself with how this purchase turned out. Every once in a while one buys items that turn out to be a great disappointment once out of the box but this TV is one of the few pleasant things that exceed expectation!! That is why it gets a perfect score!!

Capacitor problem with Samsung TVs

Please read poor reviews on previous models of Samsung LCD HDTVs. I have the LNT4665F model and most last for 1-2 years before the capacitors gave out. Not sure if they remedied this problem in the latest models but if you have this problem, you'll be in for a rude awakening. Their customer service is extremely shady when it comes to fixing this problem. Despite the fact that they messed up - they will still charge you the full cost of replacing what should've been higher voltage capacitors. Check the internet for this issue and many customer that are looking to file a class action suit against Samsung for this.

Excellent LCD value

Purchased this LCD five days ago and it arrived undamaged an as scheduled with free shipping (not sure how Amazon does that).

Picture is significantly clearer/sharper than my previous Samsung 46" LCD. Sound quality and remote (ease of use, menu, etc.) are also better. The only issue I have with it is the shiny screen. Previous LCD had a matted screen which reduced the glare and reflection or the rear of the room. This is especially noticeable when the picture has darker images.

TV is best placed in a darkened room where few reflections are present. Otherwise, the picture itself is immaculate and I'm extremely satisfied with the value of this set.

Good purchase

I decided on this purchase after doing some basic research on my current tv needs and I decided on this Samsung 1080p HDTV. I am pleased with the purchase that was made considering that it is replacing an old tv we had. I made the purchased about three weeks ago and the set-up was fairly easy. The purchase was made to go in our bedroom. I definitely would recommend this product. The price was right considering the price at other stores to be much higher.

This tv is awesome! Don't think the touch of red color really makes a difference but I love it. I plan on buying a larger one from amazon soon. Amazon is great and the tv arrived like in two days. Love it!!

Quit working

The TV was great while it worked. However it went to "black" the first week and we called Samsung, who had us UPS the new TV to them for repair. I spent a lot of money on a TV to not be able to watch it! We did get the TV back from Samsung, and it now works fine. I am suspicious that it is a "refurbished" unit as the TV had a "R" behind the serial number when I bought it from Amazon and I could not take it to a local shop, but had to mail it back to Samsung. At any rate I am happy with it as it is now.

Great TV for my Master Bedroom

Great LCD for a midsized room. The menu settings and remote take a bit of getting used to, but it is not a deal breaker. The picture is very clear, vibrant with crisp color and black "blacks". I can hardly tell when I'm watching one of Time Warner Cable's "regular" or "HD" stations. The aesthetics of the TV itself is very nice. I didn't think I'd care for the red line around the bezel but it is not so noticeable and won't clash with your room colors. The line is not bold so it disappears after awhile.

I can't comment much about viewing this at an angle. I have it in an armoire so it is position only for direct viewing. It looks like it handles angle viewing well when I'm walking by or entering the room.

I'm usually a Panasonic die-hard fan when it comes to TVs. Space requirements forced me to Samsung. However, I am pleasantly surprised and happy with this purchase so far. I have been using this for a couple of months now. The proof will come over time. All of my previous Panny's were all quality workhorses. As my first Samsung purchase I hope this will be a similar experience.

Great television

I am very satisfied with my Samsung Television; I was impressed with how I was able to assemble and enjoy it so quickly. It was also packed perfectly, so far, so good, great Television.

Don't go by the Amazon Photos!

I checked out the photos on Amazon, and it shows two HDMI ports. When I got it it only has one. As a matter of fact, they photo of the back of the TV on Amazon is NOTHING like what I got.

Now, that said, this was an excellent TV, great picture, and I have two other Samsung TV's. I just want people to realize that the photo is not correct.

I had to return this and get another brand because of the PORT issue alone. Do not hesitate to get this if you do not need two HDMI ports.

I think I'm going to have to purchase something much bigger. This is best suited for the corner of your kid's bedroom, or a college dorm room. Performance-wise, it's good. I have no complaints on that end. It's just smaller than I thought it'd be.

Samsung LN19C350 19-Inch 720p 60 Hz LCD HDTV (Black)

The Samsung HDTV was packaged perfectly and arrived in excellent condition as expected based on my HDTV purchases through Amazon in the past.

I ordered a 19" for one of our small guest bedrooms. In a television that small, 720p 60Hz is just fine. Everything about the TV is working well, and I find the quality of the picture and volume quite satisfactory for its intended purpose.

I would definitely recommend this television to others based upon my experience with it.

Samsung P2570HD Review 081810

I've had this monitor/TV for about 2 months now. All in all it is a good value, but the two issues raised by other reviewers - the on/off buttons (with this unit there is no real "button", but an area in the lower right of the bezel that is sensitive to touch) don't work as consistently as a good old fashion on/off button, and the lack of an adustable stand means I need to get a mount or put this thing on a box to get it to the right height. I think if you want to use this more as an entertainment monitor in a bedroom or guest room, perhaps, it would be great. Digital video (HD cable and Blue Ray discs) looks great! SD looks like crap. Computer input over VGA looks very good also. But as a workhorse, everyday, desktop display for computer based work, the Samsung 2443 I have right next to the 2570 blows it away! But of course the 2443 isn't an LCD TV as well.
Is there a SyncMaster that also has a tuner in it?

I was looking for a 1080 hdtv that doubles as a monitor. I found a 1080 monitor that doubles as a hdtv for much less. Great picture and no problems as of yet. As previously reported speakers are adequate (not great)and ther is no tilt for the stand. I have had very good luck with Samsung products. Over the air signal is hooked to coaxial cable. HDMI is hooked to DIRECTV HD receiver. Perfect picture.

Great when using as a monitor!

I've been using this as a computer monitor since I got it and it is great. The screen is big and looks good for editing video. I hook my macbook pro up to the dvi input and I instantly have a great monitor to work from. It does have a slightly more red tint to the look of it than the picture shows, but I could deal with that for the price. Great deal.

Samsung P2570HD, no replacement for special deal price

The TV image is great. Unfortunate, the shipping was not. The nice front bezel got damage and had a long crack on it. Furthermore, Amazon has a no replacement policy for special price deal, only can return the damage TV for refund -- cannot get this TV at this price anymore.

Very nice TV/Monitor. My only issue is a little bleeding from the top and bottom but it is not too bad when watching a well lit program or game.

Very good image quality overall and worked great out of the box. I use it for TV, PS3 and netflix streaming. Delivers great 1080P and 720p content.

Speakers are fine. No issues there.

Samsung 26 inch, Multimedia HDTV

This review covers the 26inch HDTV and also a recently purchased 22 inch Samsung. Both are excellent sets with easy installation & exceptional picture quality. These sets are a part of our multimedia system where the main set is a 1.5 yr old 52 inch HDTV Samsung (also an Amazon purchase). My First Samsung

Our home televisions have always been Sony since the Trinitron days and we never had a reason to try another brand until the need for a 26" flat screen came along. Sony no longer offers one and Samsung fit the bill. Amazon had them in stock, priced right with free shipping and no state sales tax. It worked great out of the box and we are happy with the product. It is hooked up with a Bose 3-2-1 system, so I really can't comment on Samsung's sound quality.

Good but poor auto timer ability

The only issue is that the auto timer cannot be set to start up on the HDMI input and is is of little use if that is your input channel. Apart from that it is easy to set up and has an excellent picture.
