POOR QUALITY OF PARTS

I BOUGHT THE PRODUCT FROM AMAZON. IT CAME ON TIME, AND THE PRICE WAS SUPER. I BROUGHT IT TO VENEZUELA, AND THE TV HAD AUDIO WORKING OK, BUT NO VIDEO. SAMSUNG DID NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. IT HAS BEEN GOING FROM ONE REPAIR SHOP TO ANOTHER. IT HAS ALREADY BEEN 4 MONTHS WITHOUT THE TV. HONESTLY, IT IS A POOR QUALITY PRODUCT.
NONE OF THE SONY THAT I HAVE BOUGHT (MORE THAN 4) HAS NEVER FAILED ME.
I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN.

I was told the TV had some minor surface scrathes, but the TV arrived as good as new..very happy with the purchase.

I will consider buying re-furbished again!

This is a great tv for the price. It is not the biggest thing, but perfect for the bedroom. The delivery was fast and it arrived in one piece. I have no complaints. The only thing that I didn't like about the tv is that the picture gets dark when you are not viewing from directly in front. But that is the price you have to pay for a lcd and not a plasma.

Overall, great tv, great quality, great service. I would definitely purchase from this source again.

one great tv

this is one great tv. the picture, sound, and over all experience is wonderful. i searched around for all different brands of lcd hdtv that were flat screens. in the end, no tv had a better picture and price than this tv.

i always thought playing xbox 360 was fun in general, but hooking it up to this tv makes that experience phenomenal.

This tv is well worth the money (I would have paid more if Amazon's price wasn't so low haha).

Great TV

I am able to review this TV because of the savings Amazon provided over in town pricing on another TV we purchased through them, the Samsung LN-T4069F (you will also notice some cut and paste of the review I did for that TV as many of Samsungs feature set are the same on both TVs). The savings alone on our other purchase made this purchase possible.

I did the mandatory research (as most of you have) before purchasing this TV and am extremely happy with my purchase. Having the LN-T4069F for a bit allowed us to have our faith in Samsung confirmed.

I was worried about the shipping process (and damage horror stories) on this unit as it was shipped UPS (vs. Eagle on the LN-T4069F). However the worries were unfounded. The unit arrived in perfect condition.

The TV is excellent for this category. The picture is awesome in HD. SD does not look very good compared to a CRT, but for a 26", it is not nearly as bad looking as a 40". I am one of those people that refuses to stretch a 4:3 image to widescreen so the size of the 4:3 image was important to me, and on this TV (because I found no specs or mention of this on any web site) the non stretched 4:3 picture is 13" H, 18"W which is 22" Diagonal. This is secondary TV for us, so unlike the need for 120Hz on the LN-T4069F for gaming and watching motorsports, we chose this standard LCD since budget was an issue. Although I have not played video games on it, there is the normal LCD motion blur in fast moving action, to be expected but not as bad as I thought without the 120Hz feature.

The sound is good for TV of this size. You have decent stereo separation, and the TruSurround XT does a nice job. Small speakers like these do have decent sound, nice for built ins, but don't expect any bass.

Cons:
Unless it is a hidden feature that I have yet to find, you cannot custom name your inputs. Even my 27" Panasonic TV purchase in 2000 allowed you to custom name your inputs to whatever you like. On this TV you have only presets choices (such as HD STB, Game, DVD, etc). You can't input things such as Xbox 360, Cox HD Cable and the like. It is hard to believe a feature like this missing, but I won't downgrade the overall score of the TV for something so small that really has no bearing on the quality of build and picture of this unit.

The base does not provide any swivel or adjustments at all, it is a fixed unit.

Great TV

This TV is incredible! This is my first LCD TV, and I was really afraid of things like viewing angle, image distortion. However, this TV has erased everything from my mind, especially when I put a DVD. Another plus is its size: perfect for a bedroom! Great choice!

WOW What a TV

This is the most awesome tv. The experience of watching programs in HD on this set is like looking through a window at things as they happen right before your eyes. The contrast and picture quality is unsurpassed. Setup was so easy and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Amazon had the best price by far and even sent me a refund when the price dropped $100 within the first month after I bought the set.

Great LCD for price & size

I purchased this for a bedroom and have it on a wall bracket. It was easy to install, has good sound for it's size and the picture is great.
Only comment is on some older TV shows the backgrounds can be a bit too dark. I've tried playing with the setting but it doesn't help much. I would recommend this Samsung. It's a good TV at a great price.

Nice TV

Very good image. Color very good except when viewed at an angle (vertically). Easy to avoid the problem. I personally don't like the extra wide but very short screen, and wish it were a few inches higher/lower.
I can live with it, but wish Amazon would have provided the actual screen dimensions rther than the fictional size supplied by the manufacturer. While checking it out, someone had asked what the actual screen dimensions were was but no answer had been posted and the info was not available amywhere on Amazon that I couls find.
Anyway , I'm basically pleased with it. Just be sure that the screen will be close to eye level when viewing.

Brilliant clarity and ease of use!

After holding of on getting an LCD TV I finally gave in once one of our analog TVs went on the fritz. After checking out a slew of them from many consumer electronic retailers a Samsung LNT2342H 23-inch LCD caught my eye..the price was good also..under $600 which is around what I wanted to spend. Well the sales guy began to educate me on HDMI connections..upscaling DVD players and how I was going to be amazed at the clarity of high definition digital vs analog. Needless to say I was excited...I couldn't believe how light the box was..set up was a breeze and hooking it up to my cable box was a snap. Within minutes I was viewing an unbelievable picture and I still hadn't gotten an HDMI cable, HD cable box or upscaling DVD player yet. All that was to come in the next couple of days. The HDMI cable is the way to go! They are rather expensive in most retail stores but if you order them online you can get them much cheaper. I ordered one (a 6 foot one) from Amazon for 11.99 and got it within a couple of days. So once I plugged in my HD cable box and upscaling DVD player I was enjoying sight and sound at 1080p! I can never go analog again...LOL!

The picture on this set is gorgeous! The set itself is super nice and I love the remote...very intuitive and easy to use. The source button toggles you from all your connections and the menu button allows you to adjust your screen size within seconds if you needed to. What I have been missing!

Now I want to get a bigger one for my living room..one I can mount on the wall. My kids love it! We watched "Flushed Away" the other day and were so amazed at the colors and clarity! The HDMI connection brings you the best results picture wise and audio wise so ditch all your phono cables and spring for HDMI! I had picked up a $45 RCA upscaling DVD player at Wal Mart and it works perfectly with this LCD TV..you truly do get a 1080p experience with your standard DVDs. It's awesome!

I highly recommend this Samsung..aesthetically it's a gem and the picture speaks a thousand words!

Very good TV

I have been very pleased with this TV. I bought the 26" one first and then bought the 23" for the bedroom. My only problem with it is really my fault. It is a wide screen and I didn't notice that before I purchased them. So all the people look a little bit fatter than they really are. Maybe that's a good thing for all the Hollywood stars and models. I would recommend this TV to anyone.

Great TV; Expect what your paying for.

I use this TV for my room (very small room) mainly got it to play my Wii and PS3 in HD, and of course to see some HD movies.

The LCDTV is great; dose what you pay for. And get this when it Scand for channels it found like an additional 20 or so channels, 3 of them are HD. Options/settings/Personalization are great. To be honest I'm not listing all its pros and cons because you're buying what it's telling you. (Example it says 1080i, then you're getting 1080i no buts or ifs about it). One other interesting note you would want to know. As I was playing a Wii game with my friends one of them notice the surround sound (of course using the TV's own speakers) I thought they were lying when they promise surround sound but apparently not.

Only downside is it doesn't have 1080P (but you really don't need it for a 23"). And the contras ratio is something to be desired. Then there's the start up time (takes' a bit of time to turn on). But don't let this discourage you from getting the LCDTV; rather, just be aware of this things.
