The stupid "Proceed To Checkout" to get pricing must go away
1 star for this product. Why? Well, Amazon (or LG, not sure which) makes you add the item to your cart and then go all the way through checkout to select a shipping address BEFORE YOU CAN SEE A COST!! What kind of idiot is going to buy a thousand dollar TV without knowing how much it costs first.
Shame on you Amazon.....lame practices and 1 star to hurt your sales for you.

Netflix is not supported
I got this TV to watch streaming video and Netflix says they work with Samsung TV's. This is an old model so apparently it does not support NetFlix and it never will. I wish someone had told me that it would not work. It still gets 2 stars in spite of the fact I am sending it back because it has a pretty good picture. I am just very upset that even after buying the samsung brand wireless adapter (as standard USB one will not work) I found out that no one mentioned that Netflix would not work. I don't think Hulu+ will be either.... time to send this one back and shop for a new one.

Jaw dropping
Bought the TV on Amazon and had a scheduled delivery (CEVA shipping). The delivery came within my window and the TV arrived in excellent condition. When you account not having to pay tax, shipping or CA recycle this TV is a steal if you can wait for it to be shipped.
I've had the TV a few nights now and all I can say is wow. Blu-ray discs look amazing. My friend came over and I showed him Avatar for a few minutes and he couldn't believe how good it looked. HD TV also looks great. Widgets on the TV are interesting but slow to load and I'm not likely to use them ofter.
This is my second Samsung LCD, my other is LN52A550 which is 60 hz and looks nice but nothing compared to the B750 at 240 hz.
One important thing to add is that my TV caused interference with my ATT cable box. When the tv was turned on I had to get within a couple inches of the cable box in order to change the channel. I did some research and it turns out that the backlight on the TV has to be over 5 in order to not cause interference. Once I changed it from a backlight of 5 to 6 it worked perfectly.

Awesome TV!
I did my research before buying this one, did a lot of hands on/eyes on at local electronic stores. I'm not overly tech savy, but learned enough through studying to understand the dots per sq. inch, the Hz and so forth, and realized, that with the way technology is changing, buying a TV that's at the high end of the spectrum would mean it would stay contemporary longer. The picture is really great on this, it fits nicely on an old buffet that I've transformed in to an entertainment center. It's lightweight enough that I was able to handle it by myself (I am a woman), and it was easy to connect into my other electronics (dvd, surround sound). I saved several hundred dollars buying on Amazon, plus, shipping was free. All in all, am very pleased with this one.

Realy Swell TV
Amazon was a couple $100 cheaper than other sellers. Order process was good, and the TV arrived as expected. We are very pleased with the TV. It assembled with a screwdriver and was operational in 15 minutes. Color is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Terrible speakers
The TV is fine, but the sound is terrible. The speakers seem to be in back; if you're 8 ft in front of it you can't hear it with the sound turned up to maximum. I sent it back.

Great TV, but this one was already open box
Wife ordered this TV to replace one we purchased at Sam's club. It arrived OK, but was obviously an open box. Amazon was great and accepted the return with full refund. Not sure how an item advertised as new came as a return/open box item though. We returned it and my wife found another locally. She LOVES the TV though. Great interface compared to our other Vizio TVs.

Perfect.
I am using this monitor AS AN HDTV!
Works perfectly. The picture is great, connectability is great, all around perfect.
I mounted this to a regular old wall mount, and the picture is amazing. Sound is OK.

great value for the price!
Agree with previous reviewers...above average picture, below average speakers....we use it in the kitchen and crank up the volume all the way to hear anything....presence of digital "QAM" tuner negates need for extra cable box to pick up basic digital channels....in short, excellent value for price....$159 at local Costco on the date of this review.

Samsung 933HD+ Review
Got this for my son's bedroom in his college apt to use as a personal TV / DVD display. Was very impressed with the ease of setup and the excellent video performance. His cable input is SD which tends to look a bit cartoon-ish on a set designed for HD, but after playing a bit with the video settings to suit his cable signal and room lighting, I was able to get excellent results. Movie mode worked best with the SD signal for his smaller rather dark space BTW. I was prepared to rush right out and buy a pair of external powered speakers for this since audio for a small set like this is usually underwhelming. I was actually afraid the audio would be similar to his laptop computer which is almost unusable, but this was surprisingly good for what it is. You end up using nearly the whole setting range depending upon the source, but it is quite usable for a small space where you aren't moving around a lot or having to suit people seated all over the place. I'm going to add a pair of decent powered external speakers to it for him, but it is quite serviceable as is for the purpose it was purchased for (A personal bedroom TV for a small bedroom) and the video as mentioned earlier is excellent if you take the time to tweak it if you're not feeding an HD signal into it. I never had a chance to try an HD signal into it, but I'm sure it would do very well. The selection of input types / PC adaptability make this a versatile unit too. I would definitely buy another of these for a small space/dedicated use.

Very Impressed
I am extremely happy with the performance of this TV, though I was initiatlly confused because the product is slightly different than the description on Amazon. There is only 1 HDMI port on the back on my model and nothing on the side of the TV. There is a USB but it's on the back. My model is definitely the LN22C450 but I spoke with Samsung and they told me that there is another LN22C450 that has an additional HDMI port on the side. Don't know why they have more than one model with the same name. I contacted Amazon about the issue and they offered me a discount which made me forget about the problem. I was impressed by the customer service dept. with Amazon. I liked the idea of a side HDMI connection, but I don't really need two HDMI ports so it wasn't a big enough deal. It would have been nice to have the USB on the side, for easier access, but I can live with reaching around the back since I'm not wall mounting it. Now on to what I love about the TV: -It has an excellent picture quality for all types of signals. I'm replacing a 15" Polariod and the quality is light years ahead. The picture is very bright with vivid colors. Regular cable is very clear and smooth, digital 480i cable looks great, and the 720p and 1080i are incredible. -The sound is more than sufficient for a TV this size. It's rich and clear without the "tinny" sound of other TV's this size. -The TV has a great digital tuner and picks up "over the air" HD stations very well. There's even a diagnostic signal strength meter. I'm able to pick up all my local network stations without any problems. I have a digital box I purchased that could not do this. I was thrilled to pull in HD signals without a separate antenna. I did not expect it to do this. -It is well designed and easy to use. The menus are easy to follow and the setup is simple. Even the remote is great. -It's a great looking TV. The speakers are hidden and it has a slight reddish tint to it near the bottom. It also has a nice low profile. It is about an inch shorter than the C350 even though the screen size is identical. I really liked this since I have it placed on a bookshelf. It's a perfect fit for the room I have it in.
Overall, this TV is awesome. I'm thoroughly enjoying march madness in HD!

1 HDMI input, Not 2
The technical details indicate there are 2 HDMI inputs but there is only one. The product description does accurately describe the TV as having 1 HDMI input. The Samsung web site, interestingly enough, says the TV has 2 HDMI inputs. The Amazon customer service rep tried to convince me that 1 HDMI & 1 PC input is the same as 2 HDMI input...idiot. Anyhow, they gave me an additional 20% off, so if you only need 1 HDMI input, buy this TV and then call and complain and you should get at least 20% back.

Cheaply Made Stand
The screws provided to attach the stand to the television are too large. As a result of the stand not being secured tightly the television wobbles. I am going to attempt to contact Samsung before sending television back.
Update 5/5/10: I contacted Samsung's phone customer service and got the run around (I won't go into detail now) which frustrated me. Next I tried their twitter Customer Service. After some back and forth @SamsungService asked for my email so they can get the information needed to send me the proper size screws. We'll see how this goes.
Update 5/12/10: Well, a week has passed and I have not received the screws from Samsung yet. I'll give them a couple more days while keeping Amazon's Return Policy in mind.
Update 5/13/10: Finally got the screw. That's right screw. Samsung only sent one screw for the 3 screw stand...and to top it off the new screw doesn't fit either.
This little Samsung is about to take a road trip.

Wrong screws to attach panel to stand
Purchased this product for my son's birthday. Opened the box, began assembling panel to stand. Screws were impossible to insert. Tried many different strategies, even looked at screws for wall mount. Tried some similar sized screws I had laying around. No joy. Given the experiences of other users reported here, decided it would be a lose to contact Samsung support. Returned the TV.

Do Not Buy Samsung LCD TV--known defect
Purchased this TV through Amazon August 2009. Picture quality and features are nice. Volume is inadequate at times even when cranked to the max. The big issue: It's been sent back for warranty repairs twice. The TV shuts off without any warning and won't restart. When this occured the second time within a month, I started researching the internet. There are numerous internet postings on numerous websites concerning defective Samsung LCD TVs, with the same issue. The root cause appears to be capacitors that are inadequate for operation, that overheat and "blow" after some months of use. From the comments I've read, literally hundreds of them, other customers experienced the same problem as we did. Depending on the size of the unit, you either return it for warranty service or Samsung arranges for a tech repair on site. They then have the parts replaced with the same inadequate parts as originally were installed and resulting in the same failure. Customers with multi-thousand dollar systems have had to junk their units after a couple years use. I anticipate we will have to do the same, unless I can get an electronic technician to open the unit and replace the capacitors with adequately sized ones. I'll wait unit the unit is out of warranty and fails again. We've had the unit about 8 months and it's been non-operational for over one month.

Looks great even when its off!
I just got this lovely thang yesterday. I have not played with it that much, but I have done enough to provide a decent review. My main concern with this purchase was that it is 60 Hz. Now that there is 120 and 240, I was not sure if getting 60 was smart. I read a review some where that pointed out that most PC monitors are 60 Hz. My 25 inch monitor is 60 Hz and the picture looks beautiful when I'm playing games or watching movies so I said wth. Last night I watched a NBA game and put on a few movies with intense action scenes... no image blur whatsoever. I love the look of this television and the fact that it is super thin. The controls on the tv itself are touch controls. There are no actual buttons to press. As far as HD goes...the picture, color, and clarity are unbelievable. The picture is so detailed that some of your favorite stars don't look so hot once you see them in HD. I will be purchasing some sort of sound system for this tv. My PC has a Logitech 2.1 speaker system and I have become spoiled. The sound from this tv is decent but falls way short of what I like. The only real complaint I have about this tv is that the allshare feature which allows you to stream music and video from your PC requires a Samsung USB wireless link which is a little over $70 (unless you hardwire it). I'm sure a regular wireless USB adapter could have done the trick but Samsung forces you to use theirs (which they fail to mention). I really feel that wireless should have been built into the tv in the first place but enough with that rant! Finally, I have to give it to Amazon. Their price was the best anywhere...that's not including the fact that there was no shipping charge.

marvelous!
I received my new tv from Amazon.com last Friday. I've spent a whole weekend enjoying HD glory. My movies look fabulous and my video games are crystal clear with great images and vivid colors. Revenge of the Sith, The Two Towers, Bioshock 2 and Battlefield all look spectacular. Battlefield: Bad Company becomes larger than life on this unit. While the frame rate is at 60, I didn't find this to be a problem when playing fast paced shooters. I'm not sure that the $800 for another similar Samsung unit with a higher refresh would have been worth it.
The tv is easy to mount on the free stand that comes with the unit. The 1.25" depth is a true wonder. The sound is excellent, but I live in an apartment in a major city.
The menus are nice, everything is easy to find and the ports in the back are a cinch to use when connecting inputs/outputs. After connecting my XBox to my Windows Media Center, I was able to view some really stunning HD movies over the network. I was truly amazed at the quality of the images. The models I'd seen in Best Buy and other stores were nice, but I'm glad I waited to get one of the new 2010 models.
I'm looking forward to getting a PS3 and using it as a Blu Ray player for movies & documentaries.
Amazon offered a great price on this and the shipping/delivery went very smoothly. Nothing but praises for Samsung and Amazon.com!
Gamers should be prepared to fork out extra money for a good HDMI cable. The cost is well worth it.

Bought this from Frys for 1199 and is an excellent TV with little drawbacks
Bought this from Frys for about hundred dollar less than what Amazon was selling. Amazon did not price-match.
Why the 4star rating?
My old CRT TV with Convertor box picked up 25 channels over the air and yet, the brand new TV only picked up 10 channels and that was disappointing. "Samsung UN46C5000 46-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LED HDTV"
Pros: 1. TV brings excellent picture quality for the price(1199 bones). 2. excellent sound and I don't need a home theater system. 3. setting-up was easy. 4. was able to connect my PC via an VGA Monitor Cable with 3.5mm Audio and I can watch videos or surf the web with ease "SVGA Monitor Cable with 3.5mm Audio"
Cons: 1. Does not pick up all of the over the air digital channels.
I have yet to test the TV on a blu-ray player or the PS3 system.
I haven't noticed any difference between 60Hz and the 120Hz on the TVs. That was weighing on my mind the most when I purchased this TV but it has not been an issue.
Rating :
Bit of a let down
So first the good.
It looks great, very slim, clean look. In bright conditions the picture is great and I really don't feel as though this running at 60Hz degrades the quality at all so don't worry about that.
The bad.. Flashlighting - in a dark environment like watching a movie in the dark this set exhibits horrible flashlighting - the light from the leds in the edges leaks onto the screen washing out the picture. Deal breaker so I returned it and got the 6800 which can dim these leds enhancing contrast and eliminating the flashlighting. Also of note is that the controls on the TV are impossible to make out because they are black/grey on the black bezel.
So if you can find one that doesn't leak light or only watch with the lights on it will work for you, if you want to watch in the dark you should go a different route.

Questions & Answers
Question : I need help with my new Samsung LCD TV and my Comcast HD box?
I have a new 22 inch Samsung LCD HDTV. It is widescreen. Now, when I go to an HD channel and watch the HD shows, it fills the entire screen. But, whenever I go to a non-HD channel, I have black bars on the side of the screen. I have an HDTV downstairs, and whether it is on an HD channel or not, it fills the entire screen. Can anybody help me with this?
Answer:
There are TWO aspect ratio settings....one on the cable box and one on the TV set......Set the TV to FULL or STANDARD.....Set the Cable box to 16:9 or Wide.....but be careful to NOTE that some cable boxes have TWO settings in them also.....One setting for 16:9 pictures and a possible SECOND one to select the size of a 4:3 picture coming from the TV station....if that second setting is set to normal and not STRETCH then you get the pillar boxes......And some of these damn TV Stations think it's COOOL to lock in a 4:3 picture onto a 16:9 FRAME so you can't remove those damn pillar boxes.....Local TV stations do a lot of that.....They SUCK! And all you can do is Call them and complain until they get so overwhelmed by so many upset customers, that they switch to WideScreen Video.....That's how you get things done....

Question : When I turn on my Samsung LCD tv, I occasionally notice the screen is filled with red dots. Is it going bad?
When I restart the tv, the red dots disappear. Doesn't happen every time, but have noticed it the last few mornings.
Answer:
yes you have to change some parts inside it is called caps, i can not tell you value because we dont have the model number, but smasung take 2200uf 16 volt, or 1000uf 10 volt, in some models you have to change the compunation of both, just open the back cover, look at the power supply they should be in the upper right corner, the bad one will be bufft out, another symptomes of thes parts going bad on you they will make the tv take longer time to turn on spacielly when it is cold

Question : How do I play my ps2 on my 52-inch Samsung LCD TV?
I hoooked up my ps2 to my 52-inch Samsung LCD TV and the picture is blurry? like I'm talkin very blurry, is there some kind of setting I have to use to play ps2 clearly on the 52-inch?
Answer:
Might be that your playing an old game with standard resolution and/or you have it connected to your TV with a mediocre (standard) video cable. You can use component cables; Sony has one for the PS2 and there is also 3rd party ones but obviously you want to go with the Sony brand. Some games support progressive scan (with component cables) and they look better than regular definition games played on a composite and/or S-video. Also some HDTV's (like LCD's and Plasma's) make your PS2 games (that do not support progressive scan) look worse than a regular TV, specially if they're bigger than 42in. This also happens with (most) regular standard/non digital channel programing (though HD channels obviously look great -also with component or HDMI cables hooked up) . DLP HDTV's don't suffer from this problem(s) but is an older, less popular technology because most DLP TV's (if not al)l are not flat (body wise not screen wise) and therefor bulkier (not to mention a lot more heavier) and consume more space and energy.Like I said try component video cables (they have a green, blue, red, white and red connection tip) they improve the picture quality and are built for HDTV's and forget those standard composite cables (with the yellow, white and red tips) since these cables video input/output was meant for standard (non HD) TV's.

Question : How to repair my samsung lcd tv sound working but no picture?
My samsung lcd tv suddenly didn't show any picture on screen but nothing happened to the audio.Someone please helpme how to repair it.
Answer:
If you have no volume bar or menu showing on the screen, then it cannot be anything you have wired wrong.to see the picture on an lcd tv, you need to have back lights. the light shines through the lcd panel and you can see the picture. I suspect that you have video on the screen, but you cannot see it because the back lights are not lit. To prove this simply turn the tv on in a very dark room and tune in a channel so you can hear the audio. then with a powerful flashlight, point it into the screen and look around the edge of the flashlight for evidence of video. Be careful not scratch the panel with the flashlight as you place it on it..Back to your problem, the back lights are tiny florescent bulbs and a ballast to run them, similar to the ones in a shop light. If the lights go bad or the ballast fails them you will get your symptom. Many times if the lights fail then not all of them will fail all at once, so the others will start up and then after a second they will cause the ballast to quit trying. In this case when you first start up the tv, you will see a slight glow on the screen (if the room is really dark). Many times you can see which light isn't working, there will be a darker horizontal stripe. This usually means the panel must be replaced, and unless it's cover with a warranty, you will probably not fix it due to the costs. If it never glows slightly, then replacing the ballast may fix it. On some set this board is not available separately, but many have now been released. And on newer sets the ballast is part of the power board, and they have issues with a diode shorting so the part is cheap. With out a model number, I'm spit balling. The last thing that can happen, is there is a slight back glow and no picture is being displayed. This is almost alway the fault of the lcd control board. Like the ballasts, many of these boards are now available without buying the whole panel. At any rate, you know what to expect, there is nothing you can do, because a technician will need to fix it.
