Really enjoying the experience

This is a great value and everyone loves the picture. It's got a sharp picture with fantastic color. I have made a few tweaks to get it how I like it (surprisingly found the tweaks I did on my own match almost exactly to the calibration settings recommended here by several reviewers). The sound is okay - but I agree with a lot of other reviewers that surround sound would make a vast improvement. I plan to get a new surround sound system soon - will not mess with the old system I have that has never worked right.
Delivery could not have been better. I got a call less than 48 hours after I had placed my order that they were ready to deliver. The delivery company was very accommodating to my schedule. We had extremely cold weather the day of delivery along with some bad roads; the company kept in contact with me to let me know when to expect delivery. Two men brought the TV in, unpacked it, set it up then explained they couldn't turn it on because of the extreme cold and advised me to wait at least 2 hours before I turned it on. I used that opportunity to go purchase an HDMI cable (not included, so be prepared if you don't have one) and a longer cable for my DVD player and was then AMAZED at the picture. Great product and fantastic service as usual from Amazon!

Beautiful TV but......

I recieved the TV and was very excited. It was beautiful! Three days later it decided to turn on and off on its own. Couldn't resolve the problem so I sent it back and bought a SONY

Beautiful picture; looks great! Four and a half stars

Received this last week, and finally got it mounted on the wall. Little experience so far with set, but will say this: the picture is big, bright, and beautiful!! Can't comment on the sound yet, since I mostly pipe everything through the A/V receiver. You'll probably want to tweak the video settings to get it just the way you want.

Some notes to those who might be interested:

1. HDMI and other inputs are nearly flush with back panel, and perpendicular to screen, so if you plan to wall-mount this, you'll want 90-degree cables or spring for a bunch of 90-degree adapters. Otherwise, your cables will be kinked hard against the wall, making it extremely difficult to mount flat and impossible if you want to tilt it downward slightly. Not an issue if you plan to use it on its stand. However, there is one set of side-mounted inputs (HDMI and composite only), which alleviates this problem somewhat.

2. It might be just me, or the mounting arms, but the set was off-level after mounting (off by 0.4 degrees) even though the wall support bracket was measured as level to 0.0 degrees when installed (measured with a digital level). Hard to determine where the fault is; the bracket might have shifted after mounting, or the mounting holes on the set were originally slightly misaligned. Either way, will have to shim to level.

3. Set does not have S-video inputs, important for those who might want to connect any older S-video components.

4. Very stylish design. High gloss bezel, will look great in any room. Matte screen eliminates glare.

Might be the best value in basic 52" LCD name-brand sets. Does not have internet capabilities, LED back lighting, nor 120/240 Hz refresh rates, but it'll be hard to beat this TV for value. In spite of lacking the aforementioned features, the picture is very bright and beautiful, with little noticeable lag. This is an IMPRESSIVE television.

WOW......WHAT A GREAT VALUE!!

I am very happy with this television...in the beginning I had a problem with the color, but quickly learned how to make it right. Once we connected the HDMI cable the picture was beautiful and once we connected the surrond sound it was amazing. Never thought I would be able to afford an LCD television at this size for this price. Make sure you get the warranty it will be worth it. We had a projection television we purchased about 4 years ago, didn't get a extended warranty, stoped working about a year ago. You can't go wrong with this television, it is a nice quality televison at a great price. This is my first Samsung television, I have two Vizio's and they are good quality televison also.

Amazing quality, great price, timely delivery

Fantastic picture quality. Went from a standard definition television to this set and could never go back. I researched many, many TV's before purchasing this one. The televisions at Best Buy were lower quality (Hz, definition, or size) but of equal price.

Pros: Everything is a pro. 240 Hz isn't for everyone but I think it's amazing to watch movies like Bourne Supremacy where there is lots of action and see every tiny detail of the entire screen not just what the camera is focusing on. Just a fantastic television.

Cons: Can't think of any real cons. Is a dust magnet but could care less when it is so amazing.

Other: Make sure to turn on Game Mode when playing XBOX or PS3 or there will be a significant delay between controller movements. Once Game Mode was turned on it works great.

Still can't emphasize how great of a deal this TV is and how great of quality it is.

i purchased this Samsung 40" LCD 240Hz TV , over a week ago. The Picture quality is stunning. I feel look i'm watching movies & newscast live that's all i can say. when u make the settings right the picture quality will
blow u away. i was going going to purchase a LG 47" LCD 240HZ TV over at frys electronics store i also saw the samsung there as well. the salesman told me that the refresh rate was faster on the LG Than The Samsung But i went
online the day before and i saw that refresh rate was 2ms compared to the 2.2ms refresh on the LG. I did'nt tell
the salesman about that but i came close to buying the LG But then i changed my mind & got the samsung instead.
I would not regret it. i have had tv's in life with great picture quality meaning "samsungs" & i never had an issue with any. it was the best buy i ever made .

Audio sync problem

This TV looks great. But the built in speakers are not as nice as using external audio. However my unit has the audio sync issue others have noted. If I use headphones or the RCA audio outs the audio is delayed a fraction of a second which means that when people talk it is disorienting. I did not attempt to use RCA or headphone jack until after the 12 month warranty had expired so I am stuck with the internal speakers. I would not recommend this model or others is the series (other A750 reviews for different sizes have noted audio sync problems), and if you have purchased one check the audio outs right away to get them repaired under warranty.

Just love it!

My husband and I had a very old tv and said we wouldn't renew it until it died on us. However, we watch a lot of English soccer and decided just before Christmas to get a new tv as a joint Christmas present. I did some research on Amazon and came up with this little beauty! I can't tell you how pleased we are with everything about it and would certainly recommend this to others. Just one little hiccup - the delivery was two days late because the company did not have my contact details to make the necessary delivery arrangements. I called them and they turned up as scheduled and set up the tv for me. The soccer looks fantastic! If we were do buy a larger tv for the living room we would definitely buy another Samsung.

feels like im watching blu rays and playing games in hd for the first time!!

got this tv the friday before supwebowl sunday. it felt like i was on the sideline recording the game myself. this is my third hdtv. and the picture on this tv put my other 2 hdtvs to shame. when i hooked up my ps3 and 360 to it. i seen details that i never seen before. it even helped me get a few extra kills online on modern warfare 2. because on my other 47` 1080p tv it was kinda hard to see on the maps with snow or rain. but everything was really clear with this tv and i could see other players hiding or coming from further away. i always used to think blu ray movies werent that much better then normal dvd. but after watching a blu ray movie on this tv. i changed my mind. i have watched all my older blu ray movies again and plan to never buy another normal dvd again. this is a great hdtv. i think anyone who buys it will enjoy it very much.

Samsung Camera

The quality of the pictures is stunning and it seems easy to use. Very nice, a bit larger (wider) than I expected though. Maybe Samsung could make them in colors; it would have been nice to have something other than black. The settings are also easy to set except for the time. We haven't figured that out yet as mine, from Amazon, was missing the manual. Or maybe it doesn't have one. I'm very happy with the camera. I bought a 4g memory card and it's enough for us to take many, many pictures.

Great product

I have had this camera for over a week now and have tried all the modes on it. Manual mode is the one that I love the most. All other modes also performed great for me. I have read some reviewers complaining about poor low light performance of the camera. I would respectfully like to differ here. If you are shooting within the flash range, the still pictures come out just wonderful. Beyond flash range no camera will give you great stills, unless you have an add-on flash with a greater range or a LED camera light. I also own a Canon digital SLR. Low light performance on this one is no different from the Samsung HZ15W. And also if you are using telephoto lens capability in the dimly lit conditions, no camera will fare good enough. I think if you play around a little with the shutter speed/aperture/and ISO settings in the Manual mode, you will not be disappointed, and you will still be able to capture good shots in these conditions. Wide angle shots are amazing. This is where this camera steals the show. The optical zoom holds its integrity very well whether in the wide angle mode or telephoto mode. The lens cover is not very strong though.
I did not shoot a lot of videos with it though. But, whatever I shot was pleasant to watch on the computer. I have not yet tried the video on the TV. Some people have also complained about the zoom sound showing up in the actual video. This camera has the capability to mute zoom sound. All in all this has been a great buy for me so far. There are some things that I thought Samsung could have done better. The charging cable is too short. I think they should have included the manual and the mini-HDMI cable in the box with the camera. The battery does not hold charge for long. I have ordered a spare battery from E bay. I still gave this camera five stars because performance wise I did not find any flaws. And I was looking for a camera that is not a pain to carry around and would still give me some control over the functions.

Great pocket camera with excellent zoom quality

I own a Samsung full HD camcorder SC HMX20C, have had it for about 7 months, and the video results are astounding. So in searching for a pocket camera, this Samsung HZ15W had the features I most needed, and expected the inner workings to produce excellent quality photos. It did not disappoint. The 10x zoom produces excellent pictures, macro pictures are very detailed, and the 8g memory card has great capacity. I'd buy it again in a second.

Very Satisfied

I purchased this camera primarily to get better quality videos than my older Kodak. I have been very pleased with that result. The only flaw I have found is that if a photo is rotated 90 deg, it reverts to the original configuration. Not a major issue since I deal with that in my photo editing software.

I mainly put photos and video on a DVD to view on a HD TV at 16:9 aspect ratio. The 10 mp setting is 16:9, so that's what I use. Like many feature laden cameras, if you really want to understand it, you need to invest time to read and understand the manual - a somewhat formidible task, but unavoidable.

Within the past year I have purchased this camera, a Samsung HD TV and a Samsung DVD player. They all work very nicely together. I have found the Samsung brand to be excellent!

It brings a whole new "artistic" element to my photos that I was completely missing out on before. I picked up this camera on an impulse buy for just over 200 bucks and couldn't be happier!

Fantastic Quality and Fair Price

I was looking for a good combination of price and quality and I think I found something more. The quality of this HDTV is fantastic and I think that Samsung models have the best audio/video quality among all the brands.

The price is also fair even though it's a little higher than competitors but the higher quality definitely outweighs the price.

I ordered and received my TV from Amazon in less than 1.5 days which was another great experience that I had with this TV.

If you want to buy a new HDTV and you're in doubt to choose something cheaper, I tell you not to do that. This LCD is what you need to get.

Great Samsung TV

This is my second Samsung. The first one was a 27 incher, my first HDTV. I bought it for my bedroom and I was a little ignorant about sizes. Since the prior tube TV had been a 19 inch I thought 27 would be large enough. I really liked the 27 incher but wanted a larger screen. So I bought the 32 inch in the same brand, since I was very happy with the features, images and general workings of the first. Soon after I got a Samsung Blu Ray player. This combination is terrific for watching DVD's, even those not Blu Ray. My only quibble is that it does not digitally enlarge the screen for some shows that get broadcast in little hi res boxes.

I love this TV!!!

This one does everything on the describtions. I just have one complaint. The execution of widgets are VERY VERY slow, but I do internet with my computer not with the widgets. Not a big deal. So far, I love it.

I am very happy with my purchase of this TV. I am very careful when it comes to handing my money out. I just love the picture and the flexability of the TV. I watched the Super Bowl and thought the sharpness of the picture was outstanding.

AWESOME TV!

Buddy had the 650A model. I waited for over a year and a half til TV prices dropped than the 650 b model cam out and I grabbed it up.
All I can say is AWESOME.

HD is Pristine & Standard is still very good.

I'm glad I waited for prices to drop and got this.

I don't use all the extra widgets and what not so can't comment on them.

Only minor thing that is just OK about this TV is that sound is a little tinny. But hey, who buys this kind of TV and doesnt have surround sound or buy a sound bar anymore.....

Excellent TV, Amazon the Best, DELIVERY THE WORST

Perfect TV, Good Price, Amazon Service is excellent.

The Delivery is not good at all. Because it is free it should not be bad. The freight company that delivers in the Miami FL area is the worst. This is the second time I tried buying the TV. The first one I ordered them to return it since they were going to deliver 3 days after the promised day (promised for 12/23 and wnated to deliver after Christmas). This time it was the same, even thought the freight company receives the item locally they say that they do not have drivers, and they hold the product in their facility two or three days!!!!
I was about to return it again, but I called Amazon and they realized that this was the second time, and they called the freight company and Magically they could deliver that same promised day.

AMAZON fire the transportation company in Miami FL!

Poor Customer Service

These comments are directed towards Samsung only and not at Amazon. I received a TV which had a bad speaker. As instructed I called Samsung customer service. The long and short of the story is that during a 10 day exchange of phone calls, all Samsung did to resolve my problem was to send me out new "firmware" for my TV!! Twice!! Even when it didn't work the first time!! New firmware to fix a broken speaker!! Amazon worked with me immediately to replace the TV once they knew of the problem but I am very doubtful I will ever buy a Samsung product again due to their very poor customer service.
