Christmas Present for my daughter
The TV is very nice - I got it for my 18 year old daughter for Christmas. She uses it to play music channels and games on the XBox 360. The sound quality is ok, but becomes degraded when it's turned up louder.

My 2nd Sharp HDTV
I already had a 42" Sharp Aquos for my main tv at home, so when I saw this 22" incher going for $239 at the Navy Exhchange, it was no brainer...it is great for my office, and the picture is a serious upgrade from my sdtv 13" I had before.

Great product great price great delivery time
Great product great price great delivery time. As a matter of fact, I was shocked that the product was sent by FedEX at no additional charge. I received the TV in three days.
One note: FedEX policy does not allow the delivery people to go up steps. Therefore, if you are in a home/appartment with steps better get two strong people to help you (the TV is 150 pounds).
Considering the TV is 65" I believe the picture quality is outstanding especially in Blu Ray.

worth waiting for
I saved and scrimped but it was worth it. Very nice tv but as with any tv of this type you NEED a sound system.

Awesome!
We absolutely love our new tv. We can't believe we haven't had an HD tv before this, let alone this huge tv with such a clear sreen. The room that we have this in has windows surrounding it and for the first time we can actually watch tv (and see it clearly!) during the day. Plus we saved over $1300 from the best sale prices we saw in stores by buying on Amazon. Same warranty and consumer safety as well!

Sharp 65" LCD HDTV
We've had the Sharp 65" LCD HDTV for a month and it is everything Sharp said it would be. The colors are true to life, the HiDef is great and the overall picture quality is wonderful. This was our first major Amazon online purchase and we were cautiously optomistic about buying our new TV online; however, we priced the same TV at local dealers and big box stores and as we saved $1000 over the cheapest local store we decided to buy using Amazon since no matter who we bought from the TV would have to be shipped here so why not try Amazon. Delivery was faster than expected and came off without a problem at all. It was all in all a very smooth, pain free experience; the way things should be. The vendor the TV came from was extremely friendly, cooperative and answered all of my questions. They shipped it to us at no additional charge, and the TV was packaged and crated extremely well.

Customer Review :
Great TV for the price
I was looking for a 52 inch TV to upgrade from my 32 inch and ended up going with Sharp Aquos. I was always a fan of Samsung and love my 32 inch A450 but I was worried about the reflection that the Samsung's have, due to the glossy screen, as I have a family room with a lot of windows. The Sharp has a matte finish with no reflection so I have been very happy in that regard. The picture quality on this TV is very good when adjusted. It took me a little while to get the right settings for my room but now that I have it set the picture quality is great. After setting up the TV I had to upgrade the cables on my cable box as they caused the TV to be fuzzy (standard vga cables). Once I upgraded to component cables the picture quality of HD and regular was very noticeable. I have a PS3 and Apple TV and both look fantastic when running at 1080p. Even the Wii looks good but I will probably upgrade to component on the Wii in order to get higher quality. The 120hz works well even though I'm sure newer models are probably even better but I've been happy with the quality of football etc on this TV. The only area this TV could use help with is the sound. The sound is kind of empty but not bad for general watching. If you are big into sound quality you might want to check out other TV's but many LCD's are not great so external sources may be needed.
I was able to get a great deal on this TV at another vendor, under Eleven Hundred dollars so for that price this Tv is fantastic as many Samsung and Sony 42 inch TV's with 1080p and 120hz are that price right now with. If you are looking for a TV take a look at Sharp, for the price and features they are very good. They don't have the extra features such as hooking up to your internet but who wants that and why would you want to pay for those features. I just want a great picture at a great price, not to receive RSS feeds over my broadband connection.

Great
Like it a whole lot. Arrived in perfect condition with no dead pixels. Only complaints would be: 1. 120hz might not be as big a deal as advertisers are trying to make us think. 2. I think I remember seeing something about "backlighting" which I thought was something else... but of course that was my fault.

Great TV. Very pleased so far.
I've had this TV for about 3 weeks now and I am very pleased thus far. I did an agonizing amount of research and this seemed like the best deal for a 52" TV. I went with the 120HZ as I heard it enhanced viewing sports and was a definate plus with Blu Ray (which I do not yet have). I cant really judge this feature as I have no point of reference. HD programming looks outstanding as do DVD's. I expected bad sound and this was the case. But a few days ago we switched from Direct TV to Comcast and my wife and I were stunned at how much better the TV sounded. Night and day. Why this is I do not know.... The blacks on this screen are very dark and look outstanding. Just watched "The Descent" which is an extremely dark movie and it looked just great. Anyway I recommend this TV if you are looking for an affordable 52" from a reputable manufacturer.

Once again, Sharp, the leader in LCD technology, has established a new design standard for LCD TVs. The new LC37D64U AQUOS raises the bar by fitting a large screen size into a incredibly small footprint. All inputs are compatible with 1080p sources. 4) Wide Viewing Angles (176°H x 176°W) Sharp's AQUOS viewing angles are so wide, you can view the TV clearly from practically anywhere in the room. 5) Enhanced Black Level provides the deepest, most accurate black of any flat panel TV. 6) High Brightness (450 cd/m2) AQUOS LCD Televisions are very bright. You can put them virtually anywhere – even near windows, doors or other light sources – and the picture is still vivid. 7) Built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC Tuners provide access to DTV and analog TV channels. 8) AQUOS engine with ASV technology provides high performance video processing for the brightest, most vivid colors and images.
Customer Review :
Sharp 37" Aquos 1080P television.
The Sharp 37" Aquos 1080p has a great picture. The sound quality of this 37 inch tv is not that good. Rather tinny with little base. The picture quality is great at 1080p. The remote is a bit complicated so I use the Comcast remote and it has worked out fine. I bought this set due to the size limits of my tv cabinet. Most 37" sets are wider than the 36" opening of my cabinet. This Sharp is only 35.5" wide. Just fits in. I believe that this set has been discontinued but I would recommend it to anyone who may find one for sale out there.

Good LCD
Bought this HDTV a year ago. Needed a tv that would fit within the TV cabinet, and this was the largest one, with the smallest edge around the screen. It fits nicely within the cabinet. I didn't know if it would be large enough for my living room, but actually it's a very nice size. I'm not sure if I would want a larger one.
Resolution and colors are nice

Everything I expected
Finally the wife agreed to replace the CRT TV! My only constraint was that the new TV had to fit into the present cabinet (The new set had to be less than 25 inches tall). I was leaning toward the Sharp anyway, I liked its picture quality in the store, and the frame around the actual screen was smaller than most. The 37 inch set was just the correct height. I also wanted 1080p so the TV could support future upgrades, and QAM, so we could watch non premium digital cable. The only assembly required was installing the base, and an allen wrench was thoughtfully included. The manual was clear, and channel setup was straight forward. The picture quality is remarkable, especially when switching between the analog and digital signal of the same TV station. The TV is a little slow changing channels, but only compared to the old CRT set. Sound is good too. My only regret is not buying a larger cabinet for the old TV ...

Outstanding TV, outstanding dealer.
The Sharp Aquos LC37D64U exceeds all of my expectations in picture, sound and price. The unit was shipped immediately from Electronic Express upon ordering and arrived promptly at my house via FedEx. Even the FedEx driver was impressed with the speed of shipment and perfect condition of the box. In a nutshell, the hi-def picture - from over-the-air broadcasts to DVDs is jaw-droppingly good. As far as I'm concerned, it has been a very long time since either an electronic device OR an online retailer lived up to the hype but in this case Sharp, Electronic Express and Amazon have truly delivered the goods. Highest recommendations to all.

Great Picture, but an input is cutting out every now and then with my xbox 360
We love this TV for the most part, the picture is excellent. There is one problem we are still trying to work out with it. I have my xbox 360 connected to the tv using component (rgb) and have noticed that the tv will cut out to a black screen in the middle of playing a game for about 1 second and then come back with the info box in the corner as if the input got unplugged and plugged back in. I've tried using the component connections on the side of the tv, but the problem persists. I have also tried a different cable all together with no luck. I called sharp about the issue and they suggested updating the software, but the software they had available for download was an older version than the one already on the tv. So far I haven't noticed the problem with any other source. I am fairly certain that it is not my Xbox 360, because I do not have this issue with any other tv that I hook it up to with the same configuration. I plan on contacting Sharp again to see if they can come up with a solution.

Question : How do I use my Sharp Aquos LCD TV as a computer screen for Sony Vaio PCG-K13 laptop?
I have a Sharp Aquos LCD TV that has DVI-I output and a sony Vaio with monitor port and I want to use the TV as a computer screen. I have a DVI cable to connect them, but when I do so nothing happens. DO I need something else, or do I need to change settings or otherwise do something else?
Answer:
There are a very few models of notebooks in the market that has a DVI output. Mostly are S-Video output. However, if you are sure that there is indeed a DVI output on your laptop computer, then you can hook it up to your LCD TV provided that you use a DVI to HDMI cable or if your Sharp Aquos has also a DVI input, then you can use a DVI-DVI cable to connect them.Once the two boxes are connected now, then its time for you to check your keys on the keyboard. Normally, there are key shortcuts there that you need to press so your laptop will switch from laptop display to LCD TV display. You can also do a dual display by going into your control panel. If you are using WindowsXP like what I am using,Go to START, tnen CONTROL PANEL... then... look for the Mobile Chipset that controls your laptops display. Adjust the settings according to your liking.Other than this, if you just want your LCD TV as your laptop display, just connect the HDMI cables, or even an inferior quality S-Video out (use a S-Video cable for this one), then use your keyboard shortcuts to switch displays.I used to do this thing too with my 24" LCD monitor and my HP laptop, so I can watch my movies from my laptop in a bigger screen.Good luck

Question : i have an sharp aquos lcd tv and i cant get surround sound working?
i have a sharp aquos lcd tv and i just got a dish hd reciever. we have a surround sound box in the entertainment system. how do i hook up the surround sound to the tv so i can get sound whenever i switch inputs for example, it works with the satalite but when i switch the imput to imput 4, for the wii, i still get the satalite sound?
Answer:
The easiest way to control it is to use your TV as the hub, all the connections to the TV and then the audio out of the TV to the Sound System. That won't get you the best sound though. Your Wii and Satelite are connected to the TV directly and should be connected to the sound system directly. This means that when you switch inputs on the TV you will have to change inputs on the sound system as well. To make it easier and keep the better sound you can connect all audio and video connections to the receiver and send the video out to the TV. This will only work if your Surround system has an audio/video receiver as part of it.

Question : Sharp LCD TV for xbox 360?
I know the market is huge...which makes me feel totally clueless here. im wondering, is the Sharp brand good for a gaming TV? here is what i am considering, SHARP 46" LC-46SB54U LCD TV. any input would be great! thanks :)
Answer:
I would recommend looking at plasma TVs instead, especially at these sizes. LCD screens are prone to blurring and so called "artifacts" during fast motion pictures.I would specifically recommend looking at the panasonic viera series if you want to get the best out of your X360. These panels seems to stick out above the rest in the 46" range, LCD and plasma alike. Have a look at the included source if you want to read up on wich screen would best suit your needs.

Question : Sharp LCD TV has hardly any sound. Why?
I just bought my first HDTV, a Sharp 26" LCD. I have the volume on full blast but it's barely audible 20 feet away. Is this because these new TV's are designed to be hooked up to a home system? I have a little shoot-ash portable TV that makes more noise.
Answer:
maybe the audio is not set right. set it to stereo.
