Picture Perfect
I ordered this TV thru Amazon, but they were unable to get. I wound up ordering from B & H Video. WHAT A PICTURE. Hooked up to my DirecTV high-def receiver & has an excellent picture - crisp & sharp. I purchased the pink because my wife loves that color. NICE JOB SONY...

Questions & Answers
Question : My Sony LCD TV just displays solid pink after a brief power interruption. Any ideas?
I still get audio for every channel AND the TV displays menus and channel identifications, just not the actual video from the channels themselves. Furthermore, I’ve tested with another television and confirmed that this is not a cable line issue (everything works fine on the other TV).Anything you know will be very much appreciated!Oh, it’s a Sony MFM-HT205 if that helps.
Answer:
I would try unplugging the tv for about 5 minutes and let it reset to the factory default and plug it back in. If it is still the same. Try calling or emailing Sony. They will probably just tell you to take it to an authorized repair facility to be checked out. There customer service support center is not very helpful most of the time. You might have to replace your tv, due to the price of labor being so expensive nowadays. Hope this will help you out.

Question : how do i use 32" sony bravia lcd tv as my computer monitor?
Hi...i wanna get the 32" sony bravia lcd tv to use as monitor for my computer. What cables do i need to buy for that? Is the quality gonna be as same as using the regular computer monitors? Or is everything going to be pixelated? Can i watch videos from youtuves in fullscreen wihout compromising the quality? Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks!
Answer:
Keep in mind most YouTube videos look pixilated even on regular small computer monitors. If the quality of the video is bad to begin with, it won't look good on an HDTV either.Anyway, the 32" Bravia LCD does make a nice computer monitor. As Rodger says, use a DVI-to-HDMI cable to connect your computer to it if your computer has DVI ports.I'm using my computer on a 52" Bravia LCD HDTV myself. The DVI-to-HDMI cable works very nicely in my setup.

Question : Sony LCD TV Repair Screen has multiple images?
I have a 46 inch Sony LCD it now has ghosting all over the screen one Image is three and lines on the screen. Any thoughts on cause.
Answer:
Well, it could be the 120 Hz Frame doubler, if it is a 120 Hz model.Other than that, it would have to be the Video board.Check your menu....is it doubled too?? If so, it points to the Frame doubler.

Question : how to play blu-ray dvd on sony vgnfz21m laptop thru hdmi cable to sony lcd tv hd ready?
Is it possible to overcome the block that sony have put on preventing the export of the blu-ray display from the computer. I assume they have done this to maximise sales of blu-ray players. I do not have any problem using the tv as a second monitor, it just won't take the blu-ray signal. I would be very grateful for any help with this.
Answer:
Your question doesn't make much sense. If your computer is connected to your LCD via HDMI cable then you should be good. Just extend your desktop to the second monitor. Drag Windows Media Player over to the second monitor and hit play. Anything displayed on your laptop can be moved to your second monitor.

Question : I want to post my Sony LCD tv from New Zealand to South Africa?
Would I need to pay import taxes? And how would be the best way to do it? So far pricing I have found out, is cheaper to post it than to buy another one at my destination..I am posting the tv to myself, and I have had it for nearly a year now..
Answer:
the import taxes will be paid by the person who receives the tv just wrap the tv in loads of bubble wrap and place in a thick cardboard box

Question : Is it safe to download a movie torrent and watch it on my Sony Bravia LCD Tv using a Sony pen drive?
The manual says it is possible, provided I use a pen drive as mentioned in the list of compatible pen drives for my tv model. But, I was just wondering since torrent files are nothing but pirated, so would my tv face any problems because of that? I know that sony equipments are pretty sensitive.
Answer:
Yes, he's right. They may be invalid format issues with the video file so you cant hear sound/see video, but there is no way it is going to harm your tv. Your tv cant tell if the avi content is pirated or not.

Question : i cannot get a picture when connecting my hp laptop to my sony lcd tv using a vga to hdmi cable. why is this?
i have already tried using the fn button but this makes no difference.
Answer:
I've never heard of such a cable... VGA is Analog video (PC), HDMI is Digital, there's no way a cable can convert analog video to digital video. What you need is a VGA to component (R/G/B) cable adapter, then you can take the output from your PC and display it on your LCD, (as long as it has Y/Pb/Pr connections)

Question : I have a large screen Sony LCD tv. For about 3 weeks now I have noticed a blue color across the bottom?
The rest of the tv is perfect..does anyone know whats about to happen?
Answer:
I have no idea what the blue color is, but I'd call whom ever you bought it from and insist on either service or you are bringing/sending the TV back (assuming you purchased from an authorized Sony dealer).

Question : I just got a Sony Bravia LCD TV, i wanta get surround sound for it, which is the best one?
i got SONY bravia LCD TV, i wanta set up a surround sound system, maybe i should get wireless speakers so i can put them in all sides of the room? whats the best company? and what set should i get?
Answer:
There is no "best one". You really need to research specs and prices and then evaluate yourself on the basis of listening with your own ears. Whatever anybody tells you is the best will be immediately countered by somebody else's opinion......
